Quick Question re Email.

Is it possible to save email attachments (.doc, .xls, .pdf etc) to the phone/Memory Card and also to attach files (.doc, .xls, .pdf etc) from the phone/Memory Card to emails when using non gmail email accounts?

You can buy the 2600 mah, 3000 mah or the daddy or the beast - 3200 mah. 3200 mah will give you abnout 3 days of heavy use until you need to charge it again. I'll buy mine when I go to the US next month as the 3200 mah comes from Dallas, TX and will cost a lot to ship to the UK. I have family over there who will get it sent to their address for next to nothing. Also type in HTC Desire Extended battery in Youtube and you will see a demonstration video. The downside is that you get a little lump on the back. I don't care as it is a small price to pay.

          need to know i have Adnroid 2.1 update 1 and i want to upgrade it to froyo 2.2 any ideas how ???? i live in Middle East so i dont expect to recv any update OTA... :)

              1. Open astro file manager
              2. Click on sdcard
              3. Find the media file (if you don’t have a media file create one)

              TO CREATE A NEW FILE
              1 PRESS MENU
              2 SELECT NEW
              3 SELECT DIRECTORY
              4 AND TYPE FILE NAME (i.e. Media)
              Select create that’s it

              4. Open media file you will find an audio file (if you don’t have that file create one) open that file
              5 Then open notification file (if you don’t have that file create one) then move the mp3 file you want as your sms tone in the notifications file.

              The things you downloaded go to download file on the sdcard

I still can't install an SMS tone. You advised me to do the following below. I cant do part 3. Creating a media file. I have downloaded some SMS tones but dont know where are they going to. I do has Astro File Manager Installed. Is there an alternative/more simple way install a SMS MP3 tone? I dont know why installing the SMS tone is not as simple as installing the ringtone from my Music file. Thanks.

                To use mp3 as SMS tone
                1. Open astro file manager
                2. Click on sdcard
                3. Find the media file (if you don’t have a media file create one)
                4. Open media file you will find an audio file (if you don’t have that file create one) open that file
                5 Then open notification file (if you don’t have that file create one) then move the mp3 file you want as your sms tone.
                6. Switch your phone of and then on that’s it

                  Pls how do I get what is in the 4GB micro SD that came with the Desire from the factory? I mistakenly deleted mine, & it could not do RECOVERY.

                        Hi, I have an iPhone 3GS. I want to buy a desire. Is it good to buy. I am always listen to musics with the hands free. What about the hands free quality in desire? Is it same to the iPhones? And also what about the display quality in desire? Plz help me guys.............

Then put the new card in, and copy the content back to card.

                                    Hi all,

                                    I have a 4 GIG SD card (the one that came with the phone). I already have some stuff on it like the manual, a little music etc. I want to buy an 8 GIG SD card for the safety of space. Please tell me how to move all my stuff (or even selected stuff) from the SD card to the internal phone memory without using a PC. I want to do this without using my PC/Laptop so please no suggestions using a PC.
