now here's a question for all you Desire owners out ther. are the games fully installed on the telephone memory? or the main part of the game is placed on the memory card and just a fraction of the game is placed in the phone memory(like shortcuts, .exe, and registries/I don't know exaclty if it works like this on the phone)?

another question
here in my country i dont have a special abo for the 3G internet, i have acces to it but its a liitle bit more expensive then when you have an abo.
What shall i do when i unpacking my device, i want total control(means that the device asks me for sync or auto updating stuff like weather)
i dont want that my Desire connect automaticly to the 3G internet for updating etc
what shall i do ?

well my omnia hd stands max 3 days with his battery, and this is also something i search with the desire, ok i dont use so much wifi and internet but sometimes i do and that wil reduce the time ... OK
But 1 day with turning ALL OFF is extremely poor imo :'(

I am seriously looking for a new phone right now and HTC desire seems to be it EXCEPT for:
BATTERY
U say the battery can go the day if remmeber to switch off apps etc, ok but can it go a day and a half!? Sometimes i might not come back home but still need a phone!!
MUSIC PLAYER
This is important to me for my commutes and whilst in the bath, so a decent MP3 player and Good loadspeaker (4 my bath's!) are important to me...
This phone more than ticks all other boxes, can u shed light on these for me, Thanks.

Just to answer a few short questions.
1,I have a Desire and think it's fantastic and have no problem lasting a day with the battery although you do need to remember to turn applications off, use advanced task killer or something.
2,IMO Android is by far the better OS between it and Windows atm. Could change with series 7 but don't know yet.
3,I've never had a problem with the capacitive screen, be it not working properly or haveing a 'Nexus one' problem.

Regret buying n97 mini, i should afew month and get this exellent phone=D no ishit for me useless phone cant even move and manage my folder and x10 is great 2 but no muti touch that a fail. if u want good camera go get some real shit lol i do not need a 12mega pixel phone. Phone alway a phone no matter how high ur mega pixel you got u cant beat a crap digital cam =D i didnt claim this is the best of the best 8/10 for it give the 2 for improvment

I heard so much about the batters performance ... and all bad . just want to understand ? I used HTC HD before and if and got through the day and need to charge it anyway . calls , youtube, games, wifi etc.. ? so can you tell me the desire will be worse than HD . if yes then it is big issue for me . kindly desire owners let me know? I want to buy this mobile and really like it

Please stop comparing devices to praise your own. Readers of these pages are not children. There is not a device you can name it "perfect.
Here, let us (desire owners) share our experiences and escalate any possible inconveniences, matters as well as solutions to faced problems, suggestions on 3rd party apps, tools etc. with links.
Here I have a question; have you ever lost multitouch functionality and obliged to restart your device to gain this feature back? (it is not functioning at all, not only on intern
et browser but even on the homescreen) I dont know whether a 3rd party app underlying this, or if it is a bug in the OS.

Which OS is better between Windows Mobile & Android? I desire for an expert opinion mentioning the pros & cons of both OS. I'm confused about which one to buy between HTC Hero, HTC Legend & HTC HD Mini. Is there anyone who can help with his/her valuable opinion?

This is an outstanding phone and just after using it for the first time for about five minutes I felt that this was way better than the iPhone and other smartphones
This was the first time I had been using the Android interface previously I have used Sony Ericsson Nokia iPhone and Samsung but this one was in a league of its own and I think the same after using it for about two weeks this is an excellent phone and I recommend it to anyone .
