I check settings few times already. I also have a wireless LAN connection.
Settings are 99.99% correct.
What's odd, is that google maps are working fine (i suppose they use internet connection as well).
I've look browsers settings too. They seems ok.

Jew, 25 Apr 2010The guy said the right thing, why u got angry on his commen... morejust to make it more obvious to you in case u are still unable to get it. it's like when u say X10's camera cannot take DSLR quality pics and i tell you it's becasue you're using X10, if you use a Canon DLSR it will work! I am telling the truth don't get angry! Really! go buy one and take some pictures and you will agree with me! i really hope you are at least smart enough to get what i mean by now lol... phew all these SE fanboys....

The guy said the right thing, why u got angry on his comment. just try connect to the internet using X10 instead of Desire, it will work.

bought desire 2 hours ago and its just amazing! .. the app saver thing is real! but its a bit tricky .. the appo saver would make a copy of every app that you will download on your phone on your sd card so lets just say that your "limited space" on the phone is over all you have to do is to reset your phone to default. It will delete all the apps installed by you and restore the phone in its factory settings and as there is a copy of the apps already present on your sd card they would work fine and then you will have space to install more apps. I know its a rubbish solution but hey its works :D!

The truth hurts but its the truth..
those who are complaining so much about this phone being having a 5mp camera and not having an 8mp. those people must really be poor... the truth is they dont have enough money to buy a real camera.. their hard earned money or donation from their parents is just enough for a camera phone. its a shame having a party with your relatives family and friends and you are just counting on your "cameraphone".. what a SHAME...
those who have more money to buy a smartphone and a Good camera (DSLR) will never complain a smartphone having just a simple camera.. 3mp is just enough (iphone) 5mp more than enough (desire)...
For me, 5mp camera is more than enough.. i dont use my phone as my main camera lol. for me my phone is for business, call, email, sms, and sometimes playing with applications and games, i love personalising my phone... camera? i dont usually use it. just sometimes when its needed. so whats the use a great camera in a pHone. it cant even match a true professional camera...
if you care so much about camera. dont buy a phone. your wasting your "just enough money" buy a professional camera insteed.
you got it hamid? now go back to your kingdom and praise your god "sony" just dont cry here in Desire forum..
