Just enjoy it. Cheers.

Please help, is it possible to set the calender reminder from weekly to fortnightly on the HTC desire.
PS: I've had the Desire for 2 days now, i have to say it is the best phone i have ever had. My wife owns the Iphone 3GS, we live in a weak reception area where the iphone keeps cutting out during calls. We will be changing her iphone to the HTC desire as reception is excellent. Thanks, Gav.

why do people compare the screen size using the diagonal length of the screen.A 3.7 inches screen is bigger if it has a square shape more than a rectangular shape. That's why the iphone screen looks bigger than the desire's screen although the iphone is 3.5 compared to the 3.7 of the desire.

Does anyone know how to root the device and install apps on the storage card? you only loose your warranty if you root your device right? are there any other problems beside that?

For those who is buying this phone or any other android phone jus be warned: ALL APPS only can be installed into a internal memory.
This is the problem tat people facing when using a Android Phone. http://androidforums.com/support/1216-saving-applications-sd-card.html
UNLESS u know the technical way in JAILBREAKING ur Android phone or find a bigger internal memory for a Android Phone like the latest Samsung 8gig memory Galaxy S phone

battery life was an issue for me for the first few days but seems to have settled down. i can get 2 days with moderate use now.
run your battery down till it won't switch on then do a full recharge overnight (phone switched off), i done that a couple of times and my battery is fine now. if your going to be on it all day though you've got to expect it to go down fast.
there are loads of tips and tricks on android forums to ge the most out of your phone and battery life, you just have to look around a bit.

I am Writing this review
from my HTC desire
Altogether this is an amazing phone
I have nothing bad to say about it except for the battery life which seriously don't mind because of the great functions the phone has to offer the new Android 2.1 or something is excellent and the live wall papers are stunning all displayed on the large nd easy to use Jr looking screen I used it for a day with most of the apps running and it got through the day and didn't need a charge till quite late
One day of charging may not seem much to people like me who have previously used Nokia phones but still I don't think it was that bad
I have tried iPhone and x10 this was the net one mainly due to the HTC interface which in my opinion is better than iPhone OS
The multi touch feature was also good as it helped browsing and flash also helped
The camera is very good
There are many apps on the Android market and almost all other are very good unlike the ones on the itunes app store as at Apple they go for quantity rather than quality.
These were he opinions of a 15 year old so read so read some other review if you found this not lousy

i have had a good play with both the x10 and this and fact is theyre both good phones but both have their own good points and bad points. ive heard that a lot of the X10's had battery problems so lets just relax and be happy that for those of us who didnt want the iphone now have a couple of good, high spec alternatives to choose from

I was seriously dieing to buy this or the X10, but when i found out that there is barely any reserve for apps on the android OS, i decided to stick with my iphone i mean literally the maximum i can get is 500 mb for apps out of the x10 and only 120 from the desire just because apps cant be installed to an sd card -_-!
I am gonna wait for android with atleast 8gigs of internal memory...

Sony Ericsson have already said the X10 will not be capable of multi touch due "hardware constraints".
And Jesus Christ I have never heard so much unnecessary whinging about one thing (the battery) in all my life!
