I wonder why htc doesn't include secondary camera in their latest phones. I always use video call when calling my family and girlfriend. Maybe even if not everyone using it, just put it there as a value added feature. I love this phone because of the great design, large and capacitive screen. Not to forget the great processor too.. Maybe I have to wait for htc desire 2..lol

Htc phones always get very high ratings. Maybe it's a good phone. But truth be told, i haven't met any one with an Htc. Everyone has either nokia, samsung or sony ericsson.

Spawner, 24 Feb 2010Oh come oh. you are comparing iphone to this one? The phon... morei agree with u that ipod touch is better choice than iphone for whom they need its useful applications...but if your problem with the iphone is what u just wrote then i suggest you to buy a symbian phone or a windows mobile phone so you can get what need in addition to applications and games which android still does not have, also you will get a video call camera........but of course u r free to choose the phone u like....

The phone that cant even forward a files to bluetooth?
The phone that is a iTune dependent?
no way..
Nexus One already killed the iphone. much more the desire LOL..
And if you are more on games then go buy yourself a PSP...
I have an iphone And im just using it for The applications i downloaded
and i wish i could have just bought an ipod touch and i am disappointed..
my advise for those who are planning to buy an iphone.. just go buy an ipod touch... it can do almost what the iphone can do with 3x cut the price..

Why no voice activated dialling via blue tooth headset? Most business users make/receive calls whilst driving, it's illegal to hold a phone while driving.

Apparently HTC gave some feedback about text2speech and it's not good news:
Dear HTC Customer,
Thank you for contacting Technical Support Center.
HTC desire does not support speach recognition to text.
Best Regards,
Lukasz M.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2010In fact it's true... Only google experience phone will have... moreThat's your proof? Two microphones on n1?? Common be serious. Speech to text may work better with dual microphone (primary in crowded areas) but it works with single mic too. This discussion is a bit off place cause neither of us can't prove presence/absence of speech2text on Desire so it's maybe better to wait first reviews. I just can't believe that mic icon exists with no purpose of it.

Creaper, 24 Feb 2010Can anyone please confirm if the Desire will come with such... moreNo voice2text feature in HTC Desire... Reasons i explained in other discussion already:
I was searching around the net about this issue… V2T is application which utilizes Google services. Some services are exlusive only to phones which are stated as “Google Experience” device. V2T is also limited only to Google Experience phones, which is e.g. Nexus One but Desire doesnt belong to them…
If you want to search net for that, you may start here: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/pi.....phone.html and further explanation here: http://www.sprintusers.com/for.....p?t=193168
