ACE, 19 Apr 2011@ who r using this phone.. whats abt the battery life? &... moream a Desire user for almost 5 months now. battery is not that good but overall performance the phone is great. got no problem with apps. so far this is the best unit i ever used.

Hi, I’m a new desire user, found most of the applications are installing internal HD and only it 512mb, if I need to use my contacts and new applications in SD, what could I do, some games are able to move the SD. Is it possible all new application install to SD?

Hey guys, what do you think about HTC Desire S? Is it worth it to upgrade to Desire S?
CPU - 8255 Snapdragon vs 8250 Snapdragon
GPU - Adreno 205 vs Adreno 200
ROM - 1.1GB vs 512MB
RAM - 768MB vs 576MB
Wifi- 802.11 b/g/n vs 802.11 b/g
OS - Gingerbread vs Froyo
In the PH the price difference is only Php3300 (see CMK Philippines website) for a whole lot of extra ooohmp! under its hood. I have the original Desire and I can say without a doubt that this phone has everything I need. Im also surprised that one year after its release, HTC Desire still sits on the #1 spot in recently in Techradar UK's Top 20 Mobile Phone (see Techradar UK website).
Going back to my question, is it worth it to upgrade to Desire S?
Would you settle for Desire that has everything you need or for a Desire S that has more to offer for the amount of Php3,300($77)?
Please let me know your comments.

Help needed please.If i download mp3 off the web to nokia then bluetooth to desire they play fine.If i download off the web straight to desire they wont play, it comes up unsupported content, any ideas please.

dont be confused. I think if you need a nokia phone, go for N8 rather than C7, as N8 has all the goodies of C7 with a super duper camera added. Desire is awesome phone in all respects minus the camera and battery time. So unless you can be more specific as what is your primary priority in a cell phone, its hard to suggest. However, if u want a good camera, better battery time and better text messages management, go with N8 with your eyes closed.
However, if these are not your priorities, then there is no point leaving desire for Nokia N8 or C7. Its awesome on all other aspects. I can say this for sure because I own both.

hey there.. im planning to get a desire here.. so i would like to ask a few question about the gps function of it.. is it a good gps device? hows the location app going on? i've heard from a friend that it only works well once in a while.. and also can i install a 3rd party gps apps into it? if yes any recommendation? your advice is sincerely appreciated. thanx a lot guys..

hi...using n900 from 5months....very happy with it.....but want to change.....i didn't liked the wildfire.....shortlisted htc desire and sony experia x10... which one should i go for any suggestions.....i use camera and internet specialy facebook...on mobile..... any suggestions...
