Symbian can never be in the same level with neither iOS' nor Android's poops....
Symbian has always been the same boring UI and very few and slow-progressing Ovi Store filled with not so cool games and apps.....
and very slooooowww browser...
the only Fastest thing Nokia can do is depreciation..
today ur nokia phone is the most xpensive, tomorrow, its one of the cheapest....

Samsung Galaxy S for me is so big.. and doesn't have that sexy looks..it has no dedicated flash for the cam..
and HTC Sense UI is far sexier than touch wiz.. more cool looking widgets...
watch a couple of face off videos bet Htc Desire and Samsung Galaxy S then u decide which...??

buddy, 29 Mar 2011I should buy htc desire or nokia n8?I would have to say HTC Desire.... i would recommend you to watch a couple of face off videos head to head battle between htc desire and N8... then you decide what will you desire.. but for now, i can give u a few PERSONAL point of views between the 2 devices your choosing..
First of all i'v been a nokia users since Nokia 7110(yeah,that big phone w/the cool sliding mech).. and iv always been a fan of nokia phone's user friendliness,they were always the best. my previous phone was n97,and i was contented w/it(32gb hdd rocks!)but then i came to the point of boredom(which happens to me every now and then).. i searched the net for some specs.. then i came accross this android powered phone called htc wildfire(for detailed story descriptions...check my previous posts here..its in page 4)..but i ended up in Desire.. and so i bought HTC Desire...
I was enticed at that instant with Htc Desire.. the Android Operating System is lightyears far from Symbian can ever imagine.. stunning Sense UI.... and HTC Desire have this Powerful Browser where the web pages are as u see in pc (and it supports Flash!!), powered by 576mb RAM and 1ghz cpu..so its insanely fast!
Symbian's face has always been the same.. everything the same....laggy browser,low ram, same messaging interface...theres nothing new....
iv been using my htc desire for a month now.. and up until now... im so in love with it...never have i felt this to my phone during my nokia years...
Go for Htc Desire... and you wont regret it!

htc desire= fast browsing, all-around package
nokia n8= good camera, bad browser
samsung sgs= good all-rounder, no camera/video flash

Jaz, 21 Mar 2011Be careful bro.. it's not a good sign, mine started behavin... morewhats the point of having a phone you cant use fully? more than likely its due to shit wiring in India this is common for many gadgets brought over to India from UK. i know people who have taken phones, ipods, laptops etc. over there and they have mysteriously just refused to power on. it doesn't happen with everything but it is definitely common.

you people must know about the cheating, my new desire phone is rebooting itself and hang with brirriant screen. i could not find a solution even after they made a service. I hate this device,

I just got a brand new unit, and I'm sad to say that I'm very disappointed about it. It overheats like hell then it will keep rebooting itself until it will just stop with the HTC logo during startup. It won't even reach to the point that it says "quietly brilliant" It was unusable. Try searching it in google (HTC desire rebooting/overheating) It's a common problem and the only solution I found was to have it replaced.
