still the company should have worked more on improving low light camera quality...13 mp tag is not justified in night or low light pics of desire 816...don't over expect for rear camera otherwise you will be greatly disappointed..rest everything is good

Omfg! I loveeee loveee loveeee this phone.
It looks premium, classy & extremely gorgeous. Htc you definitely owe an appraisal this time.
And to all those people who think it's not worth it & are sitting just to count its flaws , dude please high time! No phone in the market today is 'perfect' so if you're getting this beauty in 23k range you are a fool to disregard it.
Increase your budget and go buy an iPhone . -_-

Mine last mbl sony ericssion xperia mini st15i
With jst Just 1200 mah..
Take 1.30 hr charge it fully.. smtimes 2 hour :)
So its normal for htc..
N for fast charge.. switch of the mbl..

I don't know why OEM pull freedom of buyer why not removable battery why not 3g on both sims I moved from windows phone to HTC 816 and my friend to gionee s5.5 however phone is flawless but camera department needs to improve specially in low light when windows 8.1 update has started freedom of transferring file and apps on SD card why Google is pulling this from Android?

This device is an awesome device but there is a problem.This device has just 8gb of internal memory.i think its too less for a phone at this huge price tag.i know its expandable upto 128gb but u can just install around 30 to 40 apps and then there will be ashortage of phone memmory n den u'll have to store all ur apps in ur sd card and uninstall the other app to install a new app.
well thats it i would like to see the 16gb or 32gb variant of this device.

Amazing think about this phone is it supports cdma and gsm sim in sim 1 slot.
If u insert cdma sim then it will work on cdma network and if u insert gsm sim then it work on gsm network
