Likes: The Android OS(2.2 is the latest last year),the graphics are quite good, its design, the screen, Even though Wi-Fi is bad, the htc's youtube and facebook is good and fast:), The Desire HD Is A Good Phone
Selling point: The Hd will sell like pancakes if the price decreases. The Price Is Very Expensive for what you can get; Its just an HTC for that price, i mean; what can it do unlike its rivals
Disadvantages: The Desire HD logs even though files are few, Battery drains easily even though not in use, I can't even send files from it using bluetooth, even though it has Htc Sense, some apps trust wi-fi support, the camera is good but it is not user friendly and hard to use.
The Verdict: The Desire Hd's performance is good! For it is done 2010, its better rivals this 2011(Samsung Galaxy S, Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 or Arc) are almost the same in every move. If youre an user of the desire Hd,If it can still be handled, you shouldn't trade your phone on any of the two. It is perfect if your two schoolmates/officemates has an xperia or a galaxy; and you can boast it to some smartphone users.

I bought HTC DHD 3 weeks now. my phone has problem with SD card. when i take picture and view it immediately i could see it in the gallery but when i switch to other wegdet, the picture disappear. Could someone advise me to solve the problem?

Try to do a software update to 2.2.1 version...this should fix it, now my DHD has more vivid colours and with a better GPS than before.

dude...buy this phone...if u can afford(obviously)
best in class single core smartphone...i can bet that...currently installed on my phone are 57 apps n it doesnt lag for a second also...THOROUGHLY SATISFIED...!!!
people say abt its battery life...bt tell me one thing...how can u ask for 2-3 days battery life with such heavy application n fast usage...!!!!(battery then also easily goes on for a full day with all those wifi n streaming n bla bla bla stuffs)
expecting purchasers go ahead if u wanna buy a single core smartphone...or wait for SAMSUNG GALAXY SII(IN DUAL CORE)...
U CAN HAVE MY WORD THAT U WILL B SATISFIED!!

Regarding my experience, I want to share this. The phone is amanzing, but what i need to ask about is the GPS with Froyo 2.2, it is really bad, I can't get a GPS fix, I tried different methods posted online that has something to do with A-GPS, reset and download using GPS Tools from the market. Is it bad with u all guys?
The second question is regarding the display, The colors are not bright (compared to another HTC Desire HD, with both settings the same - Full brightness), the display looks dim, and when i lock the screen, I can clearly see the multitouch grid (some dots on the screen), When I put the live wallpaper of HTC, the wallpaper seems pixelated. IS ALL OF THAT NORMAL ??

AnonD-5904, 24 Apr 2011i've already done those... my screen brightness is at 30%, ... moreDude, the best way to have good battery life is flash a new Rom. The stock Rom is simply bad on the battery management. Get yrself a visit at xda website and get fascinated by the godly Rom over there..

The device hasa very typical work Email setup for your it asks for domain name ,server name whch is not even known to IT peopleand above that the support system is pathetic no responces of mail
