Using HTC Desire HD from Past 3 months.
Over all phone is good.
Bit Bulky and Battery life is not good.

The battery life is not great but the phone is wonderfull.. I would recommend it to anyone. It really is a smart phone with allot of apps availeble and easy to use.

I have bought this phone few days ago. Very nice phone with some minor default like the fact that we can't change the phone ringtone, problem don't last if we use the phone for long hours, ...
Does someone know how if whatsapp work on HTC desire hd ? I've downloaded it from whatsapp.com but the app doesn't seem to work on my phone...

Hi, I'm living in South Africa. Just wanna know... I heard Leaf(importers of HTC) were messing with the firmware and so on. Has anybody had any problems with this phone? Upgrading in June... Really like this phone, but wanna make sure I'm not going to shoot myself after the upgrade..

hello everyone.i return now after two weeks of owning the dhd and my previous post.i just wanna say that those who bash this phone should stop because they surelly don't own it.this is a masterpiece of technology.prior to this i owned the galaxy s and for some days i had'em togheter than i sold the galaxy s.the Dhd is superior in all aspects to the sgs and i mean all.perhaps the more saturated colors of the sgs's screen may be considered a slight advantage for it but that's all.the sgs was a major dissapointment for me:poor build quality with lots of squeeks from the plastic,bad software even with froyo the phone lagged a lot and very often freezed and crashed,and the overall in call quality,and the very slow updates released from samsung.all these made look for something else and after a little search i found the DHD.i must say that this phone is worth the money.i mean it's so fast and smooth,no lag,no freezing,no crashing and restarting like sgs.it is completely a new experience.the built quality is great,the call quality is awesome,and believe me even the battery.i use my phone all day long and i can tell that the battery altough smaller than that of the sgs in my case last's the same.i even made a comparison between them and both lasted the same so just stop telling that the battery is poor.it is not.the camera is great with very good quality and so is the videorecording and the flash is the best i have seen so far.games are amazing on the huge screen and so are movies.sound is great thru headphones with dolby and srs but not that great on the loudspeaker .so if you wann't excellency than go and get this.you will not regret.galaxy s2 is out there but like the first one i just wann't to ask this:has samsung resolved the problem with the overheating of the phone because with the sgs i had this serious issue and i understand that sgs2 has it.i like the sgs2 but this is a bummer if they don't do anything about it.

I bought it, did well for the first week or 2. Then started to run slow, lagged for few of my games, then crashed. So restarted phone gave it a few hours time and same thing happened. It can be good but I got no patience for this phone, especially when it could receive phone calls after 3 missed calls and just received the end of my last ring (not sim related as worked normal on older phone; worked again after putting sim back in so was happy again.) All and all phone is unpredictable and HTC should worry about quality not quantity.

please take all your contacts to office outlook & save it as csv file.Then in gmail contacts import the saved file.Then from your phone go to settings,make the gmail account sync on.it will automatically sync all your contact to your phone.

two months I am playing with DHD, only one con so far is the bty life. but I loved HTC SENCE, why ppl wanna deactivate this? even though i would say after 5 of its release ppl should go for INCREDIBLE S or wait for SENSATION, because of the front cam and better design. but if ANDROID than it has to be a HTC, no one makes better ANSROID than them.

HTC Desire HD has speakers problem the sound is poor weak and distorted, you do not fell the 8mega pixel camera at all
The good is the speed and the screen size

I bought HTC DHD 3 weeks now. my phone has problem with SD card. when i take picture and view it immediately i could see it in the gallery but when i switch to other wegdet, the picture disappear. Could someone advise me to solve the problem?
