3 years im using it, i had many issues !with it,
Now battery really weak
Phone thinks its plugged to headphones xD
Forced to install craked software (flashed it)
BUT ! For it s age, it does the same things as an iphone or everything new ! I'ts fast, tuchscreen is really reactive, can handle games and g maps satellite well, websurfing is smooth cmear and fast. And it is just unbreakable ! It falls like 30 times every where, on bitumen, grass sand, snow, without any protective case ! Screen still intact afterthat. Thanks aluminium body.
HTC is quality products, not like samsung low plastic shits, or breakable iphone screen.
My Next phone is. HTC One with aluminium body. Stay with HTC no matter what !!! You will not regret it

hi its been 2 years since m using tis cell... I ws happy Wen I bought it bt nw its vry mch outdated(like baba aadam ka smart phone)....
thr r few bugs in it like
1.apps keep on crashing.
2.Wen using it while charging touch sometimes get very unresponsive or gets hyper-active (you just touch n it vl strt doing random things on its own)
3.receiving a call is headache sometimes
4. I like the camera quality bt it too has problems like cnt capture moving things...
5.I hate its camcorder Wen playing recorded videos tey srt of get stuck in between while vedio is playing audio is going on bt video stucks.... I think it records the vedio tat way as sme problm happens Wen I watch same video on pc n at same place wer it used to get stuck on cell....
6. battery life as we all know it.
7.keeps restarting on its own.
8.games like subway surf r nt supported.
9.HTC sense does nt work properly.
10.android froyo cmon kitkat has come n v still on 2.2.1
11.metal body risk of slipping hav to b extremely careful Wen giving it to someone.
12. even covers are nt available in market.
well jus gud lookwise...
n I like it fr still photography...
pls help if any suggestions to overcome any of above problems. wud b more thn glad if someone could help out....

touch screen problems?
My HTC Desire HD is 1.5 years old. I started to have problems with the touch screen about two days ago.
It would intermittently either
1. Most of the time it is Freeze and not recognize any touch input at all
2. Get my touches wrong - e.g. I'd touch 'q' and get 'z' on the keyboard
3. Have phantom touches - i.e. it would press buttons all by itself
But the problems have been intermittent and temporary each time.
Though it does make it bloody hard to answer calls and even switch the phone off when it's having one of it's episodes.
Now, today, I needed to switch the phone off and couldn't. So I pulled the battery out. And then Android wouldn't start. I followed a tip to re-set the phone.
Does anyone know if the problem I'm experiencing is (a) common; and (b) fixed by re-setting?

I have my HTC desire HD 9191, its good phone. but my problem is when I enter Internet by using Internet browser which on the phone it opens with unknown language to me (may be Chinese). So please help me to change language to English.

It's 2013 now, and this phone shows it's age. Overall, the experience I've had with this phone can only be described as rotten, with me silently cursing HTC's "Quietly Brilliant" slogan as I repeatedly need to restart this phone because of lock ups, horrible lag, and the poor battery life.
Unless you're going to be using this phone for the very minimal apps, such as SMS, Twitter, Email, and the phone, I recommend staying away from this phone, you're only going to regret it a month down the line after you've finished convensing yourself that it was worth it because you don't want your money to feel wasted. But even if that's all you're gonna do, there's better phones for lower prices.
Overall the phone has been really slow, occasionally locks up completely requiring the poor battery to be removed in order to turn the phone off. Apps crash all the time and android gingerbread is awful to say the least - and lots of apps are dropping support for it now.
The real kicker for this phone for me was when it started calling people - like my boss - on my phonebook in the middle of the night because when I had earbuds plugged in, it would occasionally get signals that were interpreted as voice commands.
TL;DR Just don't buy this phone, seriously. It's slow, tedious, has an awful battery, and it phones random people by itself.

hi my gud pple,,weneva my HTC desire hd screen locks, my internet connection disconnects immediately, then wen my screen is unlocked(d backlight coms up) I regain my internet connections & sum of my open applications start reloading...I wuldn't knw wen I got a PING unless my phone is unlocked( screen light).....wen I unlock my fon & my internet connection is active all my PINGS start cumin in all @ once...d fon wasn't doin lyk dat b4...it started all of a sudden & I dnt knw wat causd d problem.....sum1 shud pls tel me how 2 resolve d issue....tanx all

i have been using this phone past 8 month,its great innovation ,everything is perfect except the battery life...battery really sucks...and i m wandering does this phone support the games like 'CAVE' etc..
