Wel it's a great phone!!! there are a lot of features and things you can do with it HELL YEAH to ANDRIOD, but the only thing that is al little bit disturbing is the battery. its going dead within half a day.

Desire HD is in many ways a fantastic handset. I got it because my "old" Xperia X10i died (Dropped on hard surface). Then, as an old S/E user there are a few niggles, some worse than others.
4.3", but with a poorer resolution than the X10 means occasionally slightly smeared graphics, pictures etc.
What with the mediocre camera? I hope it can be modded somehow to be useful. Also, no continuous autofocus in videomode? Who are HTC kidding?
The GSMArena review already have discussed the audio "qualities" of this handset.
The contact database is not nearly as intuitive as the X10's.
Pretty much the rest has been good enough that I decided to keep the DHD. Just. :)
A SEcond generation Scorpion CPU and newer Adreno core helps, and the DHD is generally a lovely and smooth experience.

is the samsung galaxy S II out yet? I haven't seen it in Canada yet. I could not which one do I get desire HD or iphone4. I like the screen size of hd. Does super amoled better than lcd in terms battery usage?

Have this phone for 2 months now and I'm very happy with it. It's a great phone and I can highly recommend it. The battery is not so good though.

Guys how come there are two versions of desire hd in lebanon with two prices? one that costs 900$ and the other (chinese one) 600$, and i can assure u that u can't spot any difference between the two of them!!

Man did you guys read about the 2.3.3 update.Facebook accounts erased and unable to be re-sycned.so no more fb as from that update

But bought the Desire HD yesterday...and it is super awesome...the audio is on the lower side, but manageable nothing too low. The battery went well enuf. In fact I read many reviews wer it was written if you can install a few apps to manage the battery the desire HD infact gives a better battery perfomance than the Desire. Moreover the desire is alomst a year old now and with the announcement of Desire S, you never know what might happen to the Desire. I'd say go for the Desire HD...you wont regret

when you open your phone normally there is screen lock and u have to tap down to unlock your screen. in my set this lock disappear since yesterday . any idea what happen and how to get back this screen lock ?
