I using this phone for over a month now. It is very impressive and times it better then iPhone (which I have used in the past). But couple of things which have started to nag me now, which are:

    - Battery Life - Is it really that bad? Even without continuously using the phone it seems to die within 4 hours.
    - Slow - sometimes while swapping apps it seems to slow down a lot.

All I am wondering if I have right settings or not?

Any advise will be much appreciated.

NTFS is very based on user ownership and user rights
something which don't really mix with transportable media.

Friends, I just thought to buy a
new mobile. But I just want to
                  know which one has better
                  performance between HTC
                  Desire Z and MOTOROLA
                  Mileston 2.
                  Actually I don't understand the
                  technical meanings. So can you
please explain me that HTC d z
has a 800 Mhz processor but
Motorola mileston has a 1 Ghz.
But people say that HTC is faster.
                  What's the reason?
And which one has a better
                  graphic system? Motorola or
                  HTC?
And what is the meaning of
GPRS Class 10 and Class 32?
                  Which option is the better?
How is the camera quality of
                  these two models?
Does Desire Z have a dedicated
                  microphone fornoise reduction
                  like motorola mileston has?
                  Motorola provides 8GB memory
                  card but does HTC provide?
I've never used a HTC or
                  MOTOROLA before. So will
                  someone please answer me???

Zapper, 14 Feb 2011Hey DB, Task killer does really helps,...i installed it ... moreThere should be no requirement for a Task Killer in routine use, provided apps used are well-behaved. Using an automatic Task Killer will likely decrease battery life because some apps are intended to be permanently loaded (though 'sleeping' most of the time) and the OS will simply keep restarting them. There is also a chance that an OS process will be stopped causing a crash or reset.

I recommend that if a Task Killer is being used to tame a badly-written app, then find an alternative app!! The only real use for a Killer is to terminate a stuck process, (in the same way as Task Manager in Windows might be used) something which should be a rare occurrence if apps are well-chosen, thus saving the need to restart the phone. The Killer should NOT stay resident after such use.

Those who use a taskkiller either do so because they believe someone else's claims that it'll help, or because they don't know what they're doing and look for a quick fix for their messed-up phone.

Basically as long as you avoid badly designed apps, which drain the battery by using the CPU even when in the background, you don't need a taskkiller.

                                      Goodluck!
