Im using this one. works like a charm. its the best u can get at the moment and i tried A LOT latest devices. advice: buy yourself a larger battery for this phone cuz 1250mA is not enough for it to last a day unless u turning off features and other stuff.

Can anyone suggest a good tv streaming app as I'm stuck with spb tv and would like to see more entertainment and not 50 channels of news.cheers

I had just brought a Desire HD and the battery only last for 12 hours and i did not really use it. Anyone encounter the same problem???

Had my Desire HD for a week now. Man what a phone!! Was worried about the battery life issue at first. Phone lasted till about 15h30 with average use. Then installed Juicedefender which now has my battery lasting well past 20h00. It has the best screen ever and a pleasure to browse the net. Considered the Iphone 4g and Blackberry Torch and now am so glad I chose this monster. Well done HTC once again!! Others don't compare.

Be sure to shut down your phone properly when inserting and removing sim card

Got HTC Desire HD with Android 2.2
Few issues -
1. Speaker and ringtone volume is too mediocre. Speaker is pathetic. Very low volume.
2. Battery lasts only half day. 5-6 hrs if you are frequently using it. It can last for 12hrs with very low usage.
3. There is no option to change lock screen image. It was possible in my old HTC Wildfire.
4. video are .3gp very bad. They are not in mp4 or mpg or mov
Good -
1. Very fast . Hardly hangs
2. very responsive and bright screen
3. Very good quality camera.

got my Desire HD phone last week, it's very good. so far much better than my previous phones - nokia or samsung. I find UI quite simple after getting used to. I like its shortcut/widgets. The phone is fast. Indeed there were some lags but are negligible.

1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Wireless & networks.
2. Tap Mobile networks > Network operators or Access Point Names.
