i have used this for two days.
what i didnt like
too big size to use with one hand.
also very low battery backup.
low ring volume.
usualy gets hanged for few seconds.
what i like
excelent camera
htc sense feature
mindblowing touch screen.
starts in few seconds.

Hi all,
I'm considering buying this phone but so far I'm kind of worried about the battery life. Can someone tell me how long does it last in medium usage (40-50 minutes voice calls, ~2 hours internet traffic ), weather widget (update every 6 hours)?
Also is the GPS (native app or IGO) any good?

to get full expirience download these aplications.
battery Booster from iobit website or market,free
juice defender, free but can upgrade to ultimate,
as a app killer ger memory rcover or some like that, and use
GDE home replacement, uses less ram, my phone has like 370-510 MB free ram all time .uses only 23-35% idle.
thats good. battery is not an issue. just need the right apps...Really!!!

I'm a true blue iphone gal and switching to HTC Desire HD is a bit of a hesitation for me but am willing to try the android market for a change. What are the major differences between iphone 3gs and htc dhd? What does one have that the other doesnt?
I'm about to upgrade my iphone and I honestly can't decide between the two. :(

M using DHD for last 15 days,this is one of ma best phone ever,(though i still miss my htc touch windows 6 phone). DHD is quick and easy to use.It has nice interface and feature,apps run smooth,listening music on headphones is good but inbuilt speaker is not tat great.4.3 LCD screen is good,playing games is fun on this big screen.
Battery is an issue only if u have too many things runing at the back. I manage to get 1 1/2 day wit minimum use, 16 hrs wit medium use, 9 hrs with heavy usage.

Some say there are ways to calibrate battery to give better performance, i never tried it coz donno how far its safe.Does it really increase the battery life?????

Can anyone tell me why when I pick up my phone without opening it and go directly to app killer I have nearly every app open and have to kill them all.this must consume a lot of juice when the phone is inactive.can anyone suggest an app killer/manager that doesn't open apps automatically when the phone is not in use.it seems that all the application killers I've used do the same.any good ones out there?

Hi all,
I have had a search through here and cant come up with an answer, hopefully someone can help.
Q, I have a Jawbone bluetooth head set and also have just bought a Sony Ericsson stereo blue tooth headset. It says in the phone spec and I know both the head sets support voice dialing but I cant get it to voice dial/command which defeats the purpose of hands free. Can anyone help please.

Stocks
Peep
Latitude
But can't seem to do it through 'remove apps'
Any ideas?

Im using this one. works like a charm. its the best u can get at the moment and i tried A LOT latest devices. advice: buy yourself a larger battery for this phone cuz 1250mA is not enough for it to last a day unless u turning off features and other stuff.
