Anonymous, 31 Jan 2011Desire HD VS Galaxy S (According to GSM Arena) Music Qui... moreIf you are an owner of both unit DHD &SGS), i would beleive you.Im a Proud owner of DHD, i may be bias here but i know DHD's built is very good quality and more elegant finish. as for the other stuff that you mentioned, come on they're all camera phones. one might be better than the other (in terms of music, video, photo) but there are more people out there who are happy to buy and use this phone knowing that they may not have the best music player, camera phone compared to other smartphones. All they care about is the performance (speed, speed, speed mate!), usability and finish. This group of users I call them "No-time-for-bullshit-people", in short "no-pretenders".

Sorry if I won't be able to help you this time. Bring the phone where you bought it and discuss it with them they might be able to help you and perhaps replace the handset.

design of hd is much better looking
htc sense over samy touch
galaxy screen best at the world
i personally preferred hd cos galaxy plastic body even made from high quality plastic is somehow ugly or cheap feeling also price in my country decided.galaxy from shop 510eur,hd 525eur so?

It doesn't lag on mine. It works perfectly.

I am using only Android Market.
what i mean is mmmmmmmmmmmmm..ok
when u scroll the list in your menu where these app. are there ( blocked caller, calendar, connected media,......etc ) & when u reach the end of scrolling , i feel little lag like cutting in movement.

Desire HD VS Galaxy S (According to GSM Arena)
Music Quility :
SGS : Perfect audio quality
DHD : Disappointing audio quality
Video Recording
SGS : 720p@30fps videos are excellently smooth.
DHD : 720p@25fps Unimpressive HD video
SGS has better screen Super AMOLED and has 16 GB Memory
all other things are almost same in both and after Froyo 2.2.1 update its as smooth as DHD no lags at all.
Still would you say that DHD is better then Galaxy S??

I feel whe... moreSorry I don't really understand what you meant. My HTC Desire HD never get lag. It shouldn't be it's a fast boot. Try rebooting your phone and see what happens. Another piece of advice: do not install any other applications other than coming from HTC Sense. Do not listen to what they say about any applications that you can download from the net.
Instead of doing it good to your phone it might do harm and eventually damage your phone.

I have just got my 1st HTC Desire HD, any time I look at my used apps to kills them, it always says I have been using facebook. But I haven't. Can I stop this from happening. Thank you

Excellent phone! After one week of usage, gps (only online) and wifi works fine, my wifi dl speed is also excellent, display is huge and wonderful colors, haven't experienced any problems or slow down. Ok, battery sucks, mostly at the first few days. In 8 hrs (at night), battery level reduced by 20% (WTF?), since then i have charged the battery in switched off mode, during night b.level reduced only by 7%, now after 18 hrs of minimal usage i am still at 70%!
10/10 This is the best phone ever!
