the phone is totally awesome. a little bulky but i m ok with it. sound is ok. i bought it brand new unlocked version and use it on ATT USA. when i try to kill apps it shows ram at 300. i m having hard time understanding that one. i used the samsung galaxy s and must say this blows it away (it laged and shut off during conversations). would it need a lag fix? or rooted? or its not necessary. if anyone has tried it please let me know.

Watch TV channels on this phone, thats when u get to know the capability of this phone. It looks pretty neat as compared to any other phone in this league, i would have to say better than an iphone or a nokia. android is builing up every hour. u cant afford to miss out on this mini tablet

The bell in the calls is very low can you go hd2 type because almost not felt. thank you very much.

I have a brand new 6710 navigator which I haven't used because it is a piece of #$@%**. Nokia have gone down hill over the last year or so and there are much better phones with better operating systems. My Dad just bought a HTC aria- the latest model and he is rapped with it. I doubt if I will ever buy another nokia again as there are problems with system lock ups and keys not working properly.

Very good phone!!!! compared with iphone4 and samsung galaxy s.... HTC Desire HD wins for most spec~~~~ =)

this phone is amazing,everything works smooth on it and the screen is very nice ofcourse if u put a super amoled screen next to it u will see some differences but nothing special.The screen is beautiful u can read/see everything very good.
don't get fooled by the trols,fanboys or who ever comes and bashes this phone. it's just one of the best smartphones out there, especially if u like Andriod.the htc sense if very nice as well.
the only problem i can find on this phone is the battery life, but heey almost every smartphone must be charged after a day and u can simple bring your charger with u.

Anyone also got a slow picture gallery?
For mine it takes ages to load the thumbnails, and it does it every time I try to access my photos...
The video recording is very impressive, though the sound capture is not so good...
Else, the browser is a pleasure to use, the messaging is innovative...

first it of all if you want to listen to music, then buy a music player. Desire HD is the best phone released so far.
and i don't see the speakers are that bad. it is acceptable & doing the job...

Another product from HTC which i dunno what-the-hell-are-they-thinking . . . . Come on , all the around , its consider 1 of the best hardware there is but a speaker smaller than i dunno what . I couldnt hear the phone ring on a bz street . Volume boast just makes it louder abit , anything louder and it messed up the music like some low quality china made phones . SRS technology is a good thing to have and even if they have only on earphones still fine but at least have a decent speaker at the back ....... It lasted me for a day and I sold it . For those who dont mind about the speaker , its definately a very good device yet hearing my phone is my primary concern as I'm in a sales line and this is definately not my phone

Fuseburner, 27 Dec 2010I used the desire HD (DHD) for three days before selling it... moresalam bro !! jUst wait for NOKIA E7 , it is best for you support arabica , hTc desire is good phone, i love them , but nokia E7 is better for you
