first of all go to settings-power saver and tick all the boxes apart from onscreen animations and vibrate feedback. set screen brightness for about 16%. Wireless, bluetooth and gps allways off. I also disabled any news feeds and facebook. download free program such as Advance manager to monitor services on your htc. After all those changes I manage to play for 1h check internet for about 45m and make few calls before the battery runs flat at about 10pm

DESIRE HD is available in india for 28000-29000 rs . I DONT EXECT this much low price bcoz some are telling it will be 35000rs above . i am very happy to buy this awesome phone . yesterday they launched in BANGALORE it will available in all shops in next week.

Haah!! i found out my DHD has Amoled display... newer batches of phones has LCD display. so lucky me i guess.. 2ndly PEOPLE " STOP COMPLANING ABOUT THE DAMN BATTERY LIFE " i have had the phone for a month now.. and after formatting battery i juiced out 15 to 17 hours of hardcore usage that includes around 45 mins of gameplay " Nova by gameloft " .... i have never had any issues of battery... btw does anyone experience sound break while listening to music on bluetooth stereo headphones ???

If you're facing a slowdown in your dhd try the following.g setting - Settings->Applications->Development and click on usb debugging. That should make some difference.

SamxyS Seriously, it's slower than SGS. I like DHD... moreGood reply, bro! I don't mean to say bad abt DHD, but after updating to 2.2, sgs works superbly.
Try web browser, you will see which is slower. DHD is fast because it comes with 2.2. They are nice... I own both of them, but I feel sgs is better.

I ordered from expansys UK to India for an all in cost of 34k including a bundle of 5 accessories - including customs duty paid directly by dhl. It's a breeze. Only thing is there's no warranty.
