Dualmic is a noise and echo cancelling system. There's just one mic and is placed underneath of the phone at the right side of the mini usb connector.

i have converted an avi file to a Hd Mpeg 4 file and the HTC Desire HD plays it superbly... you tube and streaming however is awful.

If you really wanna go for a pad, I suggest you wait till Blackberry releases BlackPad (PlayBook).

hey frnds, techradar.com review says it has one of the worst vedio player. i thought xvid support will be a hell of update to htc. plz is there anyone who can confirm. they said it takes a hell of time to reload ur vedio thumbnails unlike htc desire [ old one] and then they said playback is v weak. plz someone rply

I thought of an upgrade. But since this is so expensive, I`ve decided to keep my old phone and buy the ipad,which no smartphone can match for internet browsing. Too bad HTC, you have just killed this phone!

If so, is the mic on each side of the phone then? Got reply from Fring.com they support videocalls for phones with one camera, im asked to help them test for the DHD, so thats good news, im still sqeptic of a mic on the back of the phone for talking?? in video sample it seems like the sound is on the back i guess due to bad quality?
