it,s really play video for 3gp standard. just want to know bout the phone. if it really like that mean it's really suck for all the user. plez answer me... i need to know before i buy it.

Brought the phone 2 days ago and haven't been able to use it as it has a major problem with the proximity sensor, when you call or receive a call the sensor turns off the screen when placed near the ear but then fails to turn back on again! Making it unable to end a call or any thing! Thankfully the people over at HTC have just released an update and this has been fixed few!

How is it HTC consider this to be the Desire "HD" when its the same screen res as the original Desire!!!

Man this phone is just Awesome . . . . . . . . . . just got it today and upto now i am just Playing with it. Nice Built Quality . . Huge Screen , Nice Camera , and Awesome FROYO Software . . .

Why dont you buy it from: Amazon or ebay??? it is more trusted & reliable sites. Or better buy it from the HTC Agent at your country ( i will definitely take it from the agent )

That phone is pathetic, 8MP camera is not able to record proper movies. The phone is using standard 3GP to record movies.

desire before updete (2.1) is 7-8x slower like DHD 2.2 :D and then its think fast, now its super fast :O

day one - reception was all over the place. day two - battery was gone within 8 hours @ moderate use.
third day - all sorted! reception is great - either full bars gsm or 3-4 bars HSDPA - i live in the city mind.
this phone is a serious battery drainer - mainly due to the ongoing background syncs, live wallpapers and networking.
I have turned most of this off (only kept email, news and htc sense syncing) to see what the difference in battery is like and will post another comment tomorrow.
