Paul from the Nether, 18 Oct 2010Display sunlight legebility is normal for screens like this... moreThank you for getting back!
So a screen prone to finger prints and a bad legibility in direct sunlight seem to be the main concerns about this phone, along with the battery life. Is it really about 15hours as one could read in some reviews?

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2010Nah, i'm from the UK .. review might be a bit hard at the m... moreThanks a ton!! its nthg short of a review. You summed it up well, now really looking forward to your review :P. I'm keen to know more about the battery as i heard a lot of crap bout it. I hope it lasts well. My current handset is i8910i from samsung it has 1500mah battery and that sucks as the sammys messed it up in the settings somewhere.
Blurry pic might have to do with the dimensions of the pic or may be it is like that. I remember experiencing the same with one of the motorola and sony ericcson sets.
Congrats on your new mobile. For me, i can just wait untill its available in my country.
Cheers!!!

Umar Khan, 18 Oct 2010Lucky You. Where are you from? Holland? put up a review, if... moreNah, i'm from the UK .. review might be a bit hard at the moment, as I am at work. I got the phone on contract with Vodafone - came to, with upfront cashback, came to £30/month. UI is nice and smooth, a joy to go through .. speaker is a bit on the quiet side though but the music player interface is quiet good! But the box it came in, i thought, was a little disappointing - for a £450+ phone, I was expecting more .. but the phones is the main thing. It comes with a 8gb memory card too! The screen is obviously finger print prone, but the rest of the phone isn't. I miss the camera shutter button, but the camera and camcorder quality are excellent. At first I kept losing signal for some reason, but I think that was because the new sim was trying to connect to Vodafone. The on screen keyboard is a little small in portrait mode, but the predictive texting more than makes up for any miss hit keys! Like i said it is a little heavy, but the feel of it in your hand makes you feel its of nice quality material .. oh and fast boot is great too (takes 2 seconds to turn on) .. the navigation is good to, its voice guided too! .. Finally, I haven't had much chance to use the internet much, but it was speedy at loading pages, even when i was indoors with low signal! Emails and facebook syncing was easy to set up - although, for some reason, when i make/receive a call from someone, their facebook pic is blurry - maybe i need to mess around with some settings or something :s
Anyways, hope that helped :-)

I've had the desire HD since Saturday - thanks to phones4u - and it's great! Yeah the battery is removable - the dark part on the right of the camera is a flap which you take off if you want to take the battery out (you may want a spare battery, if you're a heavy user). Also it is a little on the heavy side, but that's due to the great build quality! Overall, great phone, already in love with it :p

Internal storage is not very important if you can use memory card on your mobile. This mobile supports 32G external microSD card, while the apple's one have none slot for memory card. It's really uncomfortable because if you want to transfer your data with computer, you have to use your own computer and your own account on it if you dont want your mobile's storage is empty. All can be solve easily with a microSD card, just plug in and use it like an USB.
I like this mobile, just waiting for Vodafone send it to me in the next 2 week.
