There are big arrays of TFTs in LCDs and AMOLEDs. So LCD, S-LCD, AMOLED, these are all TFTs. I couldn't resist to make this clear, I hope this is helps.
You wanted to know whether there is a high-quality S-PVA alike LCD in this device, and the answer is no. It looks more like the display of HD2.

Where you read that this has a regula... moreI've seen it and it was a big (4.3" big) disappointment :) Anyway, then I rephrase my previous statement: S-LCD is a corporation, more precisely a joint venture between Samsung and Sony. This LCD might be their product in DHD, however it's a low quality display. Just imagine a 2 years old LCD like in Touch HD or HD2. You can confirm this if you take a look at the comparison videos of DZ and DHD. We'll also see it soon in the reviews.

guys i love this phone but a small question? How do u use dlna for playing media on tv or music systems?
And does this beauty play big video files like the real hd 720p movies which are about 5gb in mass? Please please please do reply...

I bought the N900 also and it i... moreyes ! yes ! you have rights ! i have actually a nokia n97 and it's a GREAT disaster ! you mustn't buy N8 or E7 !! Symbian is too old and phones are not finished. yes they have nices specs but the machine doesn't support them.
about me i've order a HTC DESIR HD . NOKIA ... it's finish for the moment . ( i leave in Belgium)
