Battery is supposed to be more efficient than in Desire, despite being smaller.
Not quite the same processor, it's more efficient and more RAM.

This has much more Ram, it has a bigger screen, better screen, better camera, newewst version of Android and so on. Samsung is crushed by HTC. :D

1. RAM (HTC 768MB Vs Samsung 512MB), critical for smooth UI experience as more and more apps are downloaded and run in background
2. Galaxy S gps does not work accurately
3. Better camera (HTC 8MP Vs Samsung 5MP)+ dual led flash, no flash in Smasung
4. Samsung support is bad, there have been at least two incremental updates since Galaxy S is released but the gps issue is still not fixed!
5. Andoid 2.2 Vs 2.1 in Samsung, ppl have been waiting for Galaxy to move to 2.2 from long time, but no commitment from Samsung

Well, no HDMI? OMG,what a disappointment-now I will have to play movies through my fat Blu-ray player or through my HTPC.No Bluetooth 3.0? OMG,I will be lamenting on this rare occasion,when I have to use Bluetooth (like once in 2 yrs).No secondary camera? OMG,I think I will cry my eyes, because I had an option of video calls on my 4 previous phones and never used it.Oh,Apple just introduced FaceTime,that's really a breakthrough,eh fanboys?

ok im interested in buying a phonr... im using iphone 3g right now n i wonna buy a new phone so which one should i buy iphone 4... or htc desire?? or htc hd7?? which one is better?? i like htc but can i upload different apps on it like iphone?? please helpp!

the think that htc must consider is battery capacity,big screen and multiuse phone should have high battery maybe more than 1500

So you can stream. 2) htc outselling all phones on the market uk to usa.. 3) bluetooth is useless for streaming due to speeds. Its only good for pair ear pieces... So pls.. Don't buy a htc.. The phones to good for u.

There are MANY important things such the CPU, Ram, UI, camera, memory storage. Believe me that this phone is better then any announced Nokia phone. The newest Nokia phones don't have an auto focus. What a shame... We are in 2010...

Why why why ? ? ? I have a Eee PC 1215N for less then $500. It has bluetooth 3.0 (hi speed) I can get a N8 for $539. It has bluetooth 3.0 too ! This cell will cost closer to $800 and it does not even have bluetooth 3.0 which means I won't be able to stream hidef movies from my netbook to my flatscreen 65in plasma thru my cell phone :-( How stupid from HTC . . .

I asked HTC about the display, they said they can not comment or give me any information that is not shown on htc website.
I guess we´ll just have to wait and see...
