Why is there so much noise around the N8 when the Desire HD is being released at the same time and with much more interresting specs??

All this has a stincky flavour of politics...

I used a HTC hero before buying an iphone 4 which i have now. Android provides you great flexibility but it just is not as smooth as the iphone. It seems gr8 at first but as you install apps it keeps getting slower which is not the problem with iphone. But still i think android is better for me at least. In the end it all comes down to personal preference, and i think i prefer the android. But i think my mom or girlfriend would probably like an iphone coz android is too complicated for them. Also every good thing has an downside coz android is more prone to spam and the apps are not exactly trustworthy, they extract private info without even telling you. Check this Engadget article out
              http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/30/study-select-android-apps-sharing-data-without-user-notificatio/
I guess with more flexibility you are more prone to things like this. It is kinda like Windows.

Plz people stop commenting on the battery before u actually use the phone.Let it launch and then read the gsmarena review. But the battery does really seem small.
These days even the smartphone with the best battery lasts for a max of 2 days on normal usage.

i have the htc HD desire already :) - battery life is excellent - 2days on normal usage as im not too much of a heavy user - surf the net now and then take few photos daily, make some callls everyday.

RECOMMENDED - MUCH BETTER THAN THE I PHONE 4

and 2 days is good? my 3 years old nokia e60 lasts 3-4 days and i'm not happy. what's the point of mobile phone if you can't be mobile and must charge it every day or after 2 days?

All of you people assuming that the battery life will be short make me laugh!! Have you considered that the processor could be more power efficient?

                                  Make some research before posting!!!

                                  Thanks!
