This phone is for Europe as I know. If you live in America, you have to buy the American version. I really like the specs too, HTC is just... AWESOME! :X They produce only smart phones, and they have experience. I am really happy for them.
By the way Android has spy ware! You can't really use the downloaded applications... If you will use, your personal infos will be shared with people you don't know. Guys this is REAL, Google it if you don't believe me. This thing is sad, but it will be changed.

Probably end up getting this phone but its a bit big, wish HTC would release the Droid Incredible on GSM... really like that phone great size/features.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2010same old battery weakness will exist with a meagre 1230mah ... morethere are indications that the new Snapdragon processor that works in conjunction with a dedicated graphics processor will actually require less battery power. Time will tell.

same old battery weakness will exist with a meagre 1230mah battery being used...HTC has to overcome battery probs by porting bigger better batteries on such feature rich phones..

I love the everything else about Desire HD.
However because of the lack of it, on the Desire HD, I'll be upgrading to the Nokia N8 for the next 18 months.
