Battery less than original desire!? With a bigger screen this is gonna be 2 or 3 charges a day!! I wanted it but this has put me off. Im not so sure now!

Yes it is a joint project between the two companies for the SLCD screens - personally I prefer the colour and contrast of AMOLED but looks like only Samsung phones will still use them, I could be wrong :/

What ordinariness this phone! There is no innovation on it which is just bigger than the first Desire but the battery is quite small. After the model Desire, HTC has just made ordinary models. I finally chose Samsung Galaxy S.

This device will run Android. It's the sister product (the HTC Gold/HD3) that will run with Windows 7. Through working in the industry i know that this will be the biggest selling HTC so far.

The voting result of the Desire HD is 8.1 while for the Z is 6.7.Why ? More or less they have the same specifications....The Desire Z should deserve more,it's a developer's handeset .I love it. You'll see after couple of months using.

Battery only 1230 mAh? Come on guys! It should be at least 1500 mAh ... even old Desire has a better one.

Desire HD est. release date set to 8-10-2010 by a famous E-tailer with a hefty price tag of 550 EUROS.

Almost put pen 2 paper 4 a 'plastic Galaxy S' on the weekend , but the 5 MP & no flash just dosen't cut it with me , so i'll sit back an wait 4 the HTC Desire HD 2 come 2 the land of oz , look out Nokia & Apple . . .

All this nonsense about the battery, the new processor and tweaks thay have put in place on this device makes the power consumption far better than any previous HTC phone, thus they say it will easily last a day.
The screen is also the new Sony SLCD display, not TFT or AMOLED!
I wish people would get their facts right before moaning!
