Hey Desire S users,
For those of you who upgraded from the original Desire to Desire S, did you notice any difference with the display's contrast or brightness. I've been trying to compare my friend's Desire S with my Desire and it looks like the Desire S has deeper blacks and brighter colours. Is it just me or the Desire really has an inferior contrast/brightness? Both have SLCD displays by the way.
I would appreciate your replies.

Laurian, 25 Jun 2011A seller from a mobile phones shop told me to avoid Desire ... moreman theres no soft problem in my device so far... i think u got the wrong info or the seller of that particular shop must b havin little knowledge abt dis phone.. if theres some problem then it would definitely be seen here in the opinions but i didnt find any such opinions, also mine has got no problem at all. i have been using it for more than 1 months..almost 2 now

As I know the pr... moreboth are awesome device. the price is not the main point to be discussed, its the screen size mainly... those who prefer a smaller scrren will opt for desire s and who wants bigger screen will definitely opt for incredible s. the other specs are all same except the camera which the incredible got the plus point. but considering the build quality i would go for desire s as it has got aluminium unibody which the incredible lacks....

shaiju, 25 Jun 2011plz i want know about the phone it will support 3g video ca... moreya it supports flash... its clearly mentioned in the specs, also I ve personally loaded flash apps such as MAFIA WARS & POKER in Facebook. so its confirmed dat it supports flash. reagarding video call I havnt done it so far so can't say although the device have secondary camera.

A seller from a mobile phones shop told me to avoid Desire S. One up to 3 buyers are coming back in shop, having SOFT problems. Could anyone confirm that?

What is the (1)video and picture quality, (2)battery life, (3)can u put your songs for wake up clock and (4)how is the out door visibility?

guys, does this phone supports flash player 10.1 on its web browser? i can't see this in its specification and i i'm not sure if it has. can anyone answer this? thanks!

I need to know if the navigator works in the phone or not .... and i need also to know if the maps can be downloaded easily or not

Yes, Apps can be saved to SD Card, download an app App2SD which will make this easier for you. However, not all apps are movable as this is down to the developers to pin down in their programming to save on SD card.
