an, 10 Mar 2011It is strange why HTC does not make their phones with HSDPA... moream with you on this... I also don't understand why HTC doesn't make phones with worldwide HSDPA frequencies. They instead release one for Europe and one for Americas like people from one continent don't go to the other ones

Hope dis fone wil be priced below 20k in india,a direct competitor to i9003 galaxy sl.wich is da best midrange offering rite now.i hd my eye on xperia neo n lg optimus black,bt as de r price arnd 450 euros,vry costly fr their offerin.n i dnt c reasn y de price a similar specd fone as glaxy sl,so high.hope HTC does justice to derise s's price tag,as its no differnt dan da pervious derise.its got a bit more ram,a better graphics proccesr n a bigger in built storage.if its going 2 be priced arnd 450euros,i seriously doubt people wil buy dis fone jst 2 gt gingerbread n dos puny lil upgrades.

It is strange why HTC does not make their phones with HSDPA worldwide frequencies.
I like the new Desire S, but as a person travelling from US to Europe and vice-versa, not having 850/1900 HSDPA frequencies is a big problem.
HTC, please make your phones HSDPA quadband.

I am a big HTC fan and currently have the desire, I am very disappointed there is not much of an upgrade here - especially when its their main flag ship phone !
How can they expect us to keep using 2010phones when 2011 are bring out dual core ultra res phones

it depends what you want, I would choose desire s over sony neo due to build quality&solid feel.

i would beter choose sony eric xperia Neo. Same sort of spec, except sony hve 8mp camera ,beter lens sensor.

Slight upgrade of desire, and almost same specs with desire HD except for the screen and front cam... I'm sure HTC has good reason for the balance upgrade.. Hope to see the full review of this phone in GSM arena soon.. I know a lot of people is waiting for the full review of this phone... I'm also planning to buy this phone since desire HD is too big for my hands and my pocket.. ^_^

i just bought htc android phone after using WM p... moredude connect ur desire to comp, open it as an external storage device...now there you will see something like HTC Sync or something like that
just copy it on desktop, install it and ur good to go

What internal memory does this phone have? ROM means only readable memory and RAM is the working memory BUT what about the internal memory to store apps etc???

can it be that Desire S has GPRS 114 k and EDGE 560 k, when actual values are 32-48 k for GPRS and 384 k for EDGE ?
