It has 1.2 Ghz processor not 1 Ghz.... Check the conferece HTC from MWC and it said that is 1.2 Ghz processor.

The problem with this phone is the pricing. In the UK its been priced at £400, the Desire HD which has a larger screen, more inbuilt memory and a better camera is priced at £350. So why would anyone go for this over the HD?

hello ppl
i just bought htc android phone after using WM platform for last 7 years.However i do not know how to get data from my PC loaded/ transfered on to new Andro. like WM android does not make a sync client on the desktop and no idea how to get my contact (atleast) from my outlook onto my new android( am using 2.2.1 froyo)
BTB i have tried SKD & Java to hook up my new android to PC but contacts from outlook???
can anybody comment how to get it done plz?

Heh, 24 Feb 2011you say SG2 is a waay better smartphone.that's funny :D SG2... more SG2 is laggy because its still a pre preduction phone.
In the UK this phone has been priced at £400, the thing is the Desire HD is £350 and has a bigger screen, better camera and a bit more internal space. So why would you spend an extra £50 on something thats worse?

thats because its going to be a mid teir phone.... if htc wanted to be the best they easily could with the previous experience behind them.

... moreImpatient guys are impatient. Bluetooth 3.0 has proofed that doesn't bring much-to-zero speed improvement over Bluetooth 2.x. Full HD - guys this phone is far cheaper than Galaxy S2, Atrix etc. It's like comparing Galaxy S to Galaxy Ace. HDMI output - ever heard of DLNA? Be wireless.
And its not year behind - its only months behind, I bet HTC will make a killer superdroid sometime this year. Impatient guys are impatient.

Missing featues:
1. 3 axis gyro sensor
2. Bluetoth 3.0
3. Full HD video recording
4. HDMI output port.
All these make this not up to the mark when compared to the phones like Motorola ATRIX, Samsung Galaxy S2, LG Optimus 2X, etc. HTC is a year behind guys.

tycode, 20 Feb 2011android 2.4 version is just for tablet pc like htc flyer.android 3.0 is for tablets, android 2.4 is for phones. get your facts straight
