You guys are facing the similar problem of phone switching off and on 6-7 times a day and even during making calls. Visited the service centre, they advised battery malfunction. They took the battery and sent one through courier within a week. Thought the problem was over. But the same still persists.
Read a comment by a user to put in a paper slip and insert the battery firmly. But the same still gets rebooted. This is very irritating.
The phone is barely 8 months old. HTC would not replace the same. They have advised to deliver the phone to HTC service centre as the same is under warranty and they would get the same repaired.
What is the solution to the problem. Has any one got the same repaired successfully through HTC. Or it is an inbuilt problem, which cannot be rectified.
Kindly advise in case I give the phone to HTC for them to screw up the phone.
Is there any other remedy.

Great phone, display is fine, Camera is superb! Phone is fast and smooth, dual-sim works like a charm. Only downside is the battery, could have more capacity. But still worth buying. Excellent value for the money!

disply is good, it is not supports mupltiple application, some application get crashed offen pls don't buy this phone

I bought htc desire on sep 12, I am facing the rebot problem continuouly.I is not using for any purpose.
I recomment never go for htc.

I bought in May, memory issues, cant play HD games, crashed three times one day; finally it crashed and won't start. I hate it, here is my advice...Please don't buy.

Actually desire sv is a very good product but can be better if the memory is increased(64GB), dual camera

i bought htc on june, and after 3 month i phase the problem of restart automatic. this problem is phasing almost all customer who baught htc desire sv black. so dont buy this model in htc. otherwisw u wll [phase problem sure.......after 4-5 month...

I had purchased HTC Desire SV phone in Jan-2013. After 2 month I started facing problem of Auto restart & Switch off. After 2-3 visit to customer care and Many follow-up on Head office they replaced my OLd piece . After receiving new piece I also facing same problem after 3 month.
Now I am very much dis-appointed with this phone.

My htc desire sv... morehey to all users...my HTC device was giving same auto shut down prob..thanx to comment from GSM areana..it workds..the problem is due to loose battery...put some paper filling to fit it well..and not a single shut down or hang from two months..!!! amazing phone otherwise

Here i have htc desire sv (not rooted).
My htc desire sv restarts when i on my bluethooth. I didnt install any third party apps related to bluethooth. I m not able to understand why my phone restarts when i start my bluethooth.
Friends please help to resolved this problem.

Phone's battery is loose.
That's the reason it shutsdown.
Tight it with the help of paper at the lower end of the battery.
It will work just fine.
