HTC really do an excellent job on build quality. They only suck in Cameras and battery life :S

        HTC ROCKS!

I also have a Hotmail account as well and that works well. Since I'm importing the email from my internet provider to Gmail, I did the same with my Hotmail account just to be consistent. If I only had a Hotmail account, I would probably have not done the import to Gmail.

HYC phones tend to be too fragile. Technically a fine product but mechacically I prefer the Xperia from Sony

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2010this is the phone that I will most likely be getting soon, ... moreThe most annoying thing is that with the physical or screen keyboard, there does not appear to be any way to type the following symbols: , and ^.

I have also noticed some slowness when using the keyboard when entering text sometimes. It seems there is a noticeable delay when I type and when the letters appear on the screen. This does not appear to be the case when I use the screen keyboard. This doesn't happen all the time, but it does occasionally.

The stock browser has poor bookmark management capabilities. There are no folders to group bookmarks and you cannot reorder bookmarks. This is not that big of an issue as there are a number of apps that provide this capability. The one I use is Bookmark Manager Pro. It costs 1 pound. There are a number of others that have other features such as syncing with your Google bookmarks.

Email support isn't that good for anything other than Gmail. If you use Gmail, it's pretty good. For anything other than Gmail, I had issues. I use email from my internet provider. The SMTP server for my internet provider only works if I'm on WiFi at home. If I'm not, I cannot send with it. However, if I use my SMTP server for my wireless carrier, it works when I'm away from home, but does not work when I'm at home and am on WiFi. I cannot force my email client to always send using my wireless carrier even if I have WiFi connectivity.

What I ended up having to do is set up and use a Gmail account. I set up Gmail to import my email from my internet provider's email account. I also set up Gmail to sent with my internet provider's email address in the From field. It works, but is not that elegant. Gmail doesn't poll in a timely manner. I also do not want to switch email accounts because my next phone is not necessarily going to be an Android phone.

My last phone is a Nokia and setting up email on it was just way easier.

I find that I have needed to charge it part way through the day as of late. I have been using it a lot and often instead of my PC.

My last phone was not as good nor such a pleasure to use. I used it less often, so the battery lasted longer.

On days where I am not using it heavily, it can last an entire day without charging. On days that I use it heavily, it does not.

I can reproduce this effect if I go to a corner of my house where the WiFi signal is weaker. However, even if I lose a bar or two, I did not lose my WiFi connection.

The antenna issues on the iPhone 4 resulted in losing the cellular conection completely. That issue is more serious than losing a couple of bars.

Guys, i want to buy this phone, as i'm in love with the whole thing, i really don't mind the "Loose hinge" everyone is mentioning, as i never hold the phone in such positions, but other people mentioned that after a month or two, the hinge mechanism becomes very loose in all positions, is that right?

also, hows the battery life? does it need daily recharge?
