also no problem to lie down and hold the desire z above the face, no problem at all. im a text addict and love to text like that, was curious how it would work and its flawless, the screen part dont fall down, the natural way to hold this fone will prevent it. e dont have a problem
Dont listen to those who say the "display fall down wen i do like this. Me and stuntman dont have a problem obviously.
i love this mechanism, it juz fakking rules, its cool and smooth and quiet.

I have never needed to hold it that way. I had an N97 for several months prior. It also has a physical keyboard that you need to slide and tilt. I have never needed to hold that phone that way either.
If you get the Desire HD, would you actually hold the phone that way and think, "Great!, the screen doesn't fall down!"???

I have the desire Z myself. this is a spectacular h.set. Only fault with it is that if you hold the phone upside down gravity comes into play and the phone slides out. Other than that the phone is brilliant! Very fast download speeds. Apps i believe play better than other h/sets like the iphone. Feels great to hold the aluminium finish is a joy! Cant fault this h/set. Love it!

The battery cover and the area surrounding the screen is made from brushed aluminium..,So is the rest of the phone entirely plastic?
