Chris, 17 May 2010why the silly question? omnia II and hd2 shldnt even be com... moreI own both phones.. The HD2 only beats the OMII in display size and speed.. Other than that both phones are good buys.. I give the HD2 a slight edge if compared to the two....
I choose to use the HD2 as my primary phone, because of the support (xda, etc..)... Both phones are great phones...

to fix it you have to update your ROM.

[deleted post]I had this on my HD2 running WM7 skin.. It was okay, but I since removed the app and skin.. The WM7 theme was not fully done yet.. I may load it again once the WM7 theme is complete.. I posted some comments on the theme in this forum awhile back.. You will have to search for them..

[deleted post]why the silly question? omnia II and hd2 shldnt even be compared. the hd2 beats omnia II in every way apart from TFT against AMOLED displays. however the hd2's display is pretty darn gorgeous, even for a tft screen. as for x10, i dont like the build quality, especially compared to the hd2. x10's made of cheap plasticky materials while the hd2 is made of tough metal n some rubber. nice n hardy. best build quality of any phone i've used so far.

Hi Guys, sorry for previous first sentence,error words 'NOT' heres the real thing.-For those phone geek,this PHONE! is for you.Htc Hd2 is the best phone ever which supported by xda developer,to give such a huge applications to the phone.It beats the IPHONE! .Im glad to have one for myself.Whenever I see people using the IPHONE,I feel sorry for them as they just follow others blindly and not really understand,as HTC says '"The Phone gets you"

if the answer is no, then does your key board vibrate when you type a sms?
if the answer to that is "it never did" then you have a defective vibrator moto.

Hi Anthony,
I bought HTC hd2 couple of months ago, never used vibrator. Now when i am trying to enable sound setting as 'vibrator' i noticed its not vibrating. I tried from 'setting-sound and display' even from the one we get from power-off option, but no help so far.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Guys -- help.
Ever since I installed Kumar's Rom on my US Tmobile HTC HD2 (which by the way working excellently), but I noticed I can't get any of the instant messengers installed working anymore(Yahoo, Google Talk etc). Whenever I try logging in I get an error message - "Msisdn is empty string (code: 920)"
What am I not doing right? How can I fix this?

spitfire, 15 May 2010im a bit confused between the desire and hd2 which one to b... moreI would suggest Desire. Because I was using Rooted Google nexus one with Desire Rom. Android os has over 20000 app support and with All the google apps it makes life much easier. Then I Switch to HD2. Its a wack coz it runs Windows and Im stucked with about only 1000 bloody expensive apps. internet browsing is a nightmare. touch screen sucks in the ways you cannot imagine. Desire is way user friendly. The only thing I like in this phone is the really big screen.

will find out what htc will charge for the part and labor on monday.
till then I'm using it like that. I just happy the glass digitizer didn't crack, that would have cost a lot more.
