Pick a contact that has more than 1 number.
Slide to the message tab.
Tap on menu.
Tap on “Recipient Phone Number”
Tell us what you see.

when you tap to edit a contact and go down to that long Key that has "MORE" on it.
tap on it and come back and tell us all what you see in there.

when you plug your phone into the wall do you see a orange or green light? YES OR NO
On the white band do you see writing? YES or NO

And the colored bands are normal that is the boot loader screen you see just before a ROM installs. You are stuck there because you did not have the full rom.
In the white band you must see writing “serial” or “USB” YOU MUST SEE ONE OF THEM. Go look at it again and tell me which one you see.

Major, 10 Mar 2010This is a business phone and you can not assign more then o... moreer.. who on earth told u this is a business phone? u want a business phone? get a blackberry. this is a multimedia phone man. wouldnt it make more sense for a business phone to at least have a normal phonepad? or even a qwerty keyboard at least? business phones dun really need giant screens n fast processors, which are great for videos gaming n web browsing.

The colored bands you are seeing ... moreThanks for your time & help. I understand wat you are trying to say. The problem is I can not do nothing with my phone. Its completely dead. I mean..phone does not sync with pc, even could not charge battery. When i plugged my phone to pc....nothing happens. Only those 4 color band i can see whether plugged to pc or not plugged. And I do not see word "USB" in those color band. Removed battery, hard reset etc...nth happens. Thats why I'm worried. As for rom, I will go somewhere & download full rom but the thing is how to sync with pc and install rom??
There is only one hope I can think of is...take out sd card and put in adapter & do sth about it or send back to care center.

This is a business phone and you can not assign more then one mobile phone to a contact and also can't add notes to a contact.
It's strange if you think that this a VERY EXPENSIVE phone

Anthony, 10 Mar 2010People… When a download gives a size and when you check th... moreno theres nothing wrong. when its in the form of a cab file it is a compressed file format in which windows phones support to install such files. when it shows you the actual size before you select the location to install it that is its uncompressed size.

When a download gives a size and when you check the file you got, it is no where near that size. Don’t still use it. That should be a sign to you that something is wrong. And I’m not just taking about this phone; im talking about downloads in general.

The colored bands you are seeing is the HD2 boot loader screen.
All ROMs installed from then PC will send the phone to boot loader mode to install the ROM but because you tried to install a corrupted ROM it did what it had to do, to prevent you from corrupting the boot loader.
If when you plug the phone into your PC in the boot loader mode and the words “serial” change to “USB” that means your phone can still communicate with the PC and every thing is working fine.
What you have to work on is downloading the full ROM and not a partial download.
Your network is dropping the download. try a next internet net work or if you can’t do that, you will have to install a download manager that supports download resumption.
I know of a free one but the info is on my laptop that is home and I not going back home for the next 10 hours.
If you manage to get the 190mb ROM downloaded before I get home close what ever you have running from the old installation on your PC and run the new ROM with the phone connected to the PC.
Remember you must see the words “USB” in the white band when connected and you must have more than 50% charge. so plug in and if you see the solid orange light the phone is charging (a solid green light means the battery is full)
Keep me up-to-date on how things are going.

I have had this phone for about two weeks now and I think it is ace. It is my first HTC and is exactly what I wanted from a phone.
However one little think that is bugging me is texting. Has anyone else noticed that when typing out a message that there is a bit of a lag after pressing the keys? This is really starting to bug me as I have the latest firmware, and the hardware of the phone should be able to keep up with typing!
