Remember about the Telstra's ROM that I was talking about? if I Install Telstra's will I be able to use the 3G?(if you know) and here is the Telstra's ROM

I have been reading about its problems in many forums, inspite of that i purchased.to see who is telling the the truth.High tech and anthony are False praising.

thanosthegreek, 21 Feb 2010hello to everyone...i am between a samsung omnia 2 style ph... moreU have to pick what's right for U. The HD2 and OM2 are great phones.... I have both.. My HD2 is my primary phone, and I use the OM2 for TV out, and some photo's, and for music. I also use my HD2 for music as well... As for andriod, I don't use that UI, I'm a WM user...... I'm waiting for WM7 devices to hit the market, to see if I will buy, because my HD2 works JUST FINE.......................

I've had the HD2 since Nov 09 and never had the problems you're talking about. The only problem I had was camera pink issue, and that was solved with a hotfix.... My HD2 is running GREAT, no issues........ The HD2 is a GREAT phone. Best out there right NOW..................

i live in delhi india..n i m using hd2 for a week or so..the phone looks r gr8 but is full of problems..
the music volume key doesnt work sumtimes..the sound increases in installments when i try to increase it..the phone also comprises of hanging problems while general usage of phone which doesnt include using internet ..it has a 1ghz processor bt i think it is slower than 500mhz coz it takes too much of time when i switch on or off bluetooth,wi fi or data connection..when all the connections r on the fone becomes too slow..above all the phone has got only 1 game n no fancy apps as in apple iphone..htc has nt provived a screen guard for the phone..they say its scratchless..after 1 month or so d phone will have many scratches without d screen guard even if i use it carefully..the zoom level in camera is very low..the battery life is not good..the weather softwre doesnt give the correct info..
overall in performance the phone is not upto d mark..but hats off in its appearence..
plz tell me tat u ppl r having the same prob or nt???????

KP, 06 Feb 2010After installing the English / Arabic ROM, go to Settings -... morehii , all i need ur suport.. i need to turn HD2 phone to arabic language and interface and tell me also how to keeb it's interface english but stil have abilty to write arabic on keybord and messages...

Try to install it on your phone.
It will ask to remove the Co-pilot that is already there.
Say yes.
When it is done you will no longer have Co-pilot
(you can now use the download to install the Co-pilot to the memory card if you want/or not.)

oneD, 21 Feb 2010Unlocked phone.I bought from Plemix and the phone is from H... moreI have looked for your Original rom and could not find it. So if you change your rom there is no going back to that ROM for you.
But on the bright side. You don’t live in Hong Kong, so if you don’t like the cook rom you try, you can just go back to an Original updated HTC UK 1.66 ROM that is what I’m using right now.
Here is an s/n to download it from HTC UK “HT9AZNW00968”
To put back on an original ROM and get rid of HSPL, so you can use the Original ROM’s SPL and radios’ these are the steps.
1. Download the Original ROM
2. Extract all the files from it.
3. Find “RUU_signed.nbh” and rename it “leoimg.nbh”
4. Copy the renamed file to the “root” of your memory card
5. Power off you phone.
6. Hold “volume” down key and tap “power” key
7. As soon as you see the grey loading screen release the “volume” key
8. Follow the onscreen instructions
9. When it says it is completed use a pin to press the reset button or remove/replace the battery so the phone can restart.

also when i damaged my original screen protector i replace it with a generic one and had problems then as well so i took it back off.
Now im using the phone with the naked glass and having no problems. (but if i get just one small scratch i will let you all know.)
