1. where do i get my original ROM just in case i do not like my new ROM (Cooked ROM) here is the detailed information about my HTC HD2:
OS version- 5.2.21869(21869.5.0.82) will this change if i upgrade to cook ROM)?
Manila Version- 1.0.19211620.0
will this change if i upgrade to cook ROM?
ROM version- 1.48.831.0(71294)WWE
ROM date-Nov 9 2009
Radio Version- 2.05.51.05_2
will this change if i upgrade to cook ROM?
Protocol version- 15.28.50.07U

Im sorry if the question that i asked you about "will this change if I to upgrade to cook rom" is a bit silly. im just curious:)
This what i am thinking to change to:

2. I saw telstra ROM in pocketnow website (if im not mistakenly but now i could not find the article anymore) I thought may be if I used telstra ROM i could use 3G here in Canada. Any suggestion about this?

OneD, 21 Feb 2010Yes I did( I only have BsB Tweaks installed).The phone now ... morethat is the old default windows mobile unlock screen. how did you get that to come up? ok try this..
go to the "today" settings (in all settings).
under the "items" tab check windows default and then tap "ok" to come out.
that should load the default win mo 6.5 interfaces and give you back the lock. then go back in and check "HTC sense" that should load back sense but keep the lock.
let me know what happens.

Anthony, 20 Feb 2010did you disable autolock with BsB tweaks or HD2 Tweak? if ... moreYes I did( I only have BsB Tweaks installed).The phone now is in a different mode to unlock it. if we originally have a slide to unlock.Now i have to press the UNLOCK (which is on the left side and then a grey screen comes up with a horizontal straight line says " To unlock the device,tap Unlock". hopefully you can understand what i am trying to say.

if you did you have to go back in and re-enable the autolock to get the slide lock back.

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2010the typing in this phone is a disaster ...they should built... moreI did uninstall it but the windows slide lock screen doesn't show up.basically when I press the power button(end call)it only make the screen goes off and when I press any 5 buttons the phone will just activate(without asking to slide unlock)and I don't have any pass lock set up.do you have any idea?thanks.

I have problem with my realplayer that it canot be opened... moredid you install ".net (3.5 or 3.7) cf redistributed" realplayer may need it on your phone for it to work.

i noticed something tho, whever something rotates to landscape (opera for example) it rotates back to portrait for no reason (phone still in landscape)! i installed changescreen and,all was good!
still lovin this rom! cant wait to see what 2.0 will be like!

I have problem with my realplayer that it canot be opened...error.
Maybe the one I downloaded have problem..any1 can intro me a link or any other player that can run RMVB files...

Does anyone know how to change the alarm tone and the default location without adding it? Mine appears to be in Glendale but I'm not in Glendale

the typing in this phone is a disaster ...they should built it with resistive screen because windows 6.5 not completely compatible with a capacitive screen...but its not HTC fault its the people who want iphone screen ...forgetting ((the styles))and i think that the typing problem will be more obvious in HD mini

OneD, 20 Feb 2010yes the slide one Anthony.:)just un-install the S2U2 and you will see the Windows slide lock again.
if you have the windows passkey setup, you will not see the windows slide lock.
