also wanna know if there is any texting software where it recognizes last used words for while i messaged like if i used the word "india" when i touch "in" .. "india" should appear like htc tytnn i wish some one would come up for a solution for both my questions

    a very wierd query u see i am a heavy texter i have been using all pda phones like earlier i mate and then 02 and now all htc phones my last was htc tytn 2 now i got this htc hd 2 u see when ever i send a messages it gets saved in send box which i dont wnt to get saves and when i delete it it gets saves in delete folder every now and then i have to empty my send folfer and my delete folder is there a solution on this that after i send my messages they dont get saved in my send folder like the earlier htc phones had that option and after u delete it gets completed deleted not get transfered to deltle folder i hope some understands my prob and replies to it

      Could you tell me in your words what you think i was telling you to do?
      This is an observation for me into how the mind works. Part of my job is using C.A.D. to do building plans. And am shocked that a plan could be as clear as day to me on paper and a contractor could look at the same plan and build something that’s not on the sheet. You may be the key to helping me write better notes on my drawings.

          Anonymous, 09 Feb 2010hi everyone!have someone use both adroid os n window mobile... morehi I had HTC hd then I sold it and got HTC hero which was android I really tell you can't even compare windows with android.windows mobile I way better for me now I am using HTC hd2 which is really good phone.in windows mobile u can do whatever u want different type of keyboard I am using SPB right now and its good .but let me tell u in android I have used only hero which I wasn't happy with .

            Arcanus, 09 Feb 2010ohhh man please dont tell me that the HSPL is a software th... moreThey are both programs, they don’t install on your PC but they are design to be used from your PC to automate the process of changing the rom so you can’t screw it up. Even though you look like you’re trying really hard to find a way. In the early days of win mo if you wanted to change your SPL to HSPL there where a lot of things you had to do from the phone. And there were many things that could go wrong.
            Now there is a program to do the hard work for you and it’s like you think the steps are too short? :-)
            You never told me what phone you had before that is making you fight the way things are done on win mo so hard.
            You also never told me if you use Microsoft Outlook on your home PC?

              Miri ROM still working fine. No lag or freezes so far.... I've customized it by using Spb Shell, Spb Plus, and the Sense UI w/60 shortcut panels. I must say it's working like a charm.... The included RAM increase and Doc Tab was much needed by me. I'm enjoying my HD2 even MORE now..... I will use this ROM until a major ROM from HTC comes out (like WM6.6 or WM7).... I've installed 21 games and at least 10-12 apps (like Spb Backup, Spb Finance, Pocket Informant, etc.). I use my HD2 as a netbook computer, it does the same as a netbook, just smaller. I do alot of texting, surfing, Doc's, email, music player, movies, etc. The HD2 handles all this for me quite well..... I usually uprgrade my phone every year or two, but with the HD2 I really don't need to do that. If I do upgrade my phone it will have to have some monster specs. Now I am looking for a phone that can handle HD viewing and recording (1080P or 720P), and TV out????? Something like that will temp me to upgrade??????

                  is it? if it is i cant belive how dum i am lol
                  i was thinking i was suppost to put that on the phone or something thats why i was confused lol

                    Yes i have installed softwares before things like games, anti-virus, nokia pc suite, etc

                    I have winzip on my pc and i extracted the HSPL yesterday.

                            As is said before you only need to have it open to change settings for outlook nothing more.

                            Ok let’s move away from changing roms for now.
                            Seeing that you don’t know what you can do with sync mode.
                            Do you use Microsoft outlook on your PC at home?

                                i have windows 7
                                when i connected my phone yesterday the windows mobile centre came up but was showing windows mobile device 6.1 :s so i closed it. (i guess is screw up)
                                so today i will get home and i will connect and when that come up what should i do?

                                  Arcanus, 09 Feb 2010Anthony sorry about all this, i am not trying to complicate... moreIf you can see both the phone memory and the memory card from your PC… you are already connected in sync mode :-)
                                  Drive mode would only show the memory card.
                                  You are sounding like an iPhone user that is expecting something Grand to happen.
                                  Sync mode is very none-intrusive the only time you ever have to see the interface is when you what to set it up to sync with outlook. But that is not what we are doing here.
                                  Ok I will go slow.

                                  Are you using vista, 7 or XP?
                                  For 7 or vaster you should have Windows mobile device center on the PC
                                  For xp you should have ActiveSync.
                                  If you already have one of them and you want to confirm you are connected just open the program and see if it says you are connected.

                                  Note: you don’t have to open them to connect, you just opening them to see if you are connected as you are doubting your self that if can be that easy.

                                  Once I know you can connect your phone to your PC in sync mode we will go from there.

                                    Anthony sorry about all this, i am not trying to complicate thing i just want to make sure about what i am doing.

                                    the active sync is when i connect the usb cable with my laptop and give me the option on the screen of the phone for active sync.

                                    this is what i know.

                                    you told me this yesterday:

                                    You also need to get HSPL

                                    so i might be doing 2 things wrong.
                                    either i need a active sync software for the laptop wich i didn't now about or its done throught the phone but all i get on the phone is just the active sync screen wich i select and then nothing happens. i am just able to open the phone folder and the memory card from my pc.

                                    :s what am i doing wrong?

It does nothing more. So you don’t even have to do that. It’s just a step for knowledge.
                                        Some people want to know what is there before they change it so they know what to put back if they have to send the phone back for warranty reasons but you already told me your provider is not longer supporting the phone. So warranty is of no use to you.

                                        Changing the file name is for the removal of the HSPL and it’s a hidden file in the rom you have to rename not the HSPL

                                        You don’t need to remove the HSPL after it is installed.
                                        You will need it there so the next time you want to do a rom update. You just have to download the rom and run it.
