but i am not happy with android

I used to have iphone3g...skipped 3gs & 4.....wat a difference. It's like ...east or west iPhone is the best. I've used all kind of platforms including win mobile (yet to use win7), android & bb.....to be honest they are not even close to iPhone even though their hardware specs are higher than iPhone. Its smooth as silk. Android is so-so....no matter they have 1.5 ghz processor, 1gb ram......still buggy, laggy & horrible battery life. Not to mention droid fragmentation.
I highly recommend you 4s......unless u r simply iPhone hater. Your contact issue, garmin etc will be taken care with 4s. Tons of apps....you get everything you need.

some says, iphone has an advantage on this expect..what do you think...one thing I couldn't stand with iphone is the built it battery (cannot swap with fresh battery) and the only 3.5" screen that straining my eyes..

HTC HD2 is a great phone. I have been using it since a year and now i have installed Android Nand ROM, which made this phone unmatched in its price range. I can even play the latest HD games, and HD videos.

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2011yes!!! u need to close it for a few minutes every 3 days!what are you saying? I'm using mine with an original 3.14 ROM and the only time my phone is off is when i don't charge and the battery dies. and i have no freezing problem. leave at least the 10% free pace on the internal storage the the system is going to use as a swap file during CPU calulation and you will see a big difference in performance.

Data that can be put into contacts are limited, in comparison to “windows mobile” which has “see more information”
Sync with outlook is not the best.
Sorting contacts by Company “can’t find a way to do it.”
There is no software to read gamin turn by turn nav maps and gamin is the only company that makes nav maps for my country.
WP7 is a nice toy as a alternative to iPhone. So I’m stuck with this phone or getting a blackberry. Which looks like they are going under.
Looking out for WP8 maybe it will give me more of what I use than what WM6.5 gives me now.
My HD2 is running smooth and is not physically falling apart “knock on wood” so ill just look at all the new cool hardware put I’m not buying till I’m truly impressed with OS improvements.
Half the things I See added to new OS now are for people that live in the USA. Well I don’t live in the U.S. so how does paying for that really improves my user experience…
Saying I have it but cant use it is pointless.
Windows 8 tables are coming out and that most likely is going to be the next buy. Phones are just not impressing me right now.

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2011I can't send a message or text with my htc hd2.pls tell me ... moreNot being able to send SMS in a problem that affected some people with the older ROMs.
It was fixed in ROMs version 1.66 and newer.
You have 2 options.
You can update your ROM (I can help you with this if you tell me your full ROM version number)
Or you can do the work around….
What happens is a SMS is stuck in the “outbox” and is blocking all other SMS from being sent.
Go to the “Messages” tab and tap on (All Messages>Menu>Settings>Traditional Mode) then go to the Outbox and delete any message you see in there then restart your phone.
You should be able to send SMS again after that.
NOTE: you must update your ROM for a permanent fix.

the best smart phone ever , i am running android 2.3.7 perfectly on the nand , battery lasts more than the stock WM 6.5 used to do ...
ICS has one more step to be launched as stable rom on this mobile , there is still the camera issue , but today ICS was released officially to the htc sensation which means the camera driver will be ported to the HD2 soon ........

AnonD-33864, 22 Dec 2011any one install the ICS 4.0 on this phone before... like... moreHi, I've tried ICS on my HD2 before... when the 'limited' rom was released on XDA devlopers, but the camera and other bits didn't work. It ran ok most of the time but with the ICS live wallpaer it did lag a bit, helped to download GoLauncher though it was still laggy. Gone back to Gingerbread 2.3.4 and it's very smooth, especially using GoLauncher :) Hope this helps.

Hello dear Anthony,
I have been using the HD2 for over two years now,and you have been a great help all along, however recently I bought a samsung galaxy Note, I suggest that you consider it as your next device, its one of the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
