I have just received an HD2 by pos... moremany years ago all programs had to be synced to your wm phone. that is no longer the case, now you can just download the program .cab, copy it to the phone and install it right there. but some program/drivers come as .msi files and that has to be synced from a pc with activeSync. roms also have to be sync from a pc. .net 3.5 has to be sync from a pc and without .net 3.5 most new programs will not install or work on this phone.
music, videos,and documents does not need to be sync. you can just copy them on.

Hi all,
I need help!!!
I have just received an HD2 by post and I m not sure yet if keep it or seel it to get an iphone, mainly because I m a mac person.
Can the HD2 be sync to a mac? What programs do u suggest me to use?
I have found Syncmate, will it work?
Will I be able to download apps for my HD2 from my imac?
Please, someone answer these questions, I don t know what to do. Thank you all.

while using the phone and making a phone call the voice of the person whom i am talking to is some how distorted ,is it a hardware defect or is it a rom update?

If you go to the HTC UK site you will see the bug fix for the cam and a new rom was released for the phone
(no recall or may the recall was just for Vodafone batch)

HI,

I have been trying to get HTC HD2 for last 2 months, everytime I goto mobile stores, or call Vodafone UK customer services, all I get is we don't have them in stock untill yesterday, now I been told its been recalled by HTC and hence Vodafone have discontinued HTC HD2, is it true, HTC have recalled this phone due to bugs in handset.

Hi All,

On my HD2, I copied "Mute.exe" from "windows" and placed it under "Windows/Start Menu/Programs". By this I can easily put the phone sound off (mute - under vibration) through a quick link on my Today screen.

Does anyone know the name of the file that can enable the "Ringer on" function - i.e. the reverse of Mute?

Still haven't receive my phone from clove yet. It was shipped on the december 4th, they email me it and said took 3-7 business day. And they gave me the tracking number and i check it online only says the item has alrady shipped out to Unite States. Its been for like 10 days now. If i'm not going to recieve mine phone tomorrow i'm going to fxxking ask them y the fxxk taking so long.

How do we provide the signing statement (Regards, etc) for SMS? With the procedure you gave, I get an option to provide signatures for emails only and not for SMS / MMS...

Secondly I had tried to synchronise with "myphone" earlier but it did not since my device is already synchronised with our Company's server.

Windows Mobile 7 wont be available in Q1 or Q2 next year. So guys the fastest time Windows Mobile 7 will be release in Q3, so dont expect to see windows mobile 7 in the first 6 months next year.

Now my lock screen wallpaper is tile. Does anyone know how to correct this or if it can be corrected??????? The old ROM lock sreen wallpaper was fit screen mode..............
