akshat, 13 Nov 2009thank you. would you recommend an hd2 over nokia e75 YES, YES, YES. The HD2 is a very GOOD phone for the moment....Also you will get alot of third party support for updates, and ROM's. I want to be able to refresh my phone to another OS when it comes out (WM7). That's the main reason I purchased the HD2.......

Hope this helps......

High Tech, 13 Nov 2009You can put this in your pocket. The phone is not that BIG.... more
So it has replaced your laptop, but it is not a tablet PC, cause it is not big enough.

    You are so confused!!!

I dont think WinMo can be compared to PC. The power of the PC is too great to be replaced by hardware alone.
If you do not wish to carry your laptop owing to its limited use by limited intelligence that doesnt mean it is the eternal trurth to be accepted by everybody.

YRF, 13 Nov 2009Hey this is actually not the first phone with Snapdragon. ... moreYes the TG01 has a big screen, but the phone never took off (didn't sell well). This phone gives you alot. When WM7 comes out for this phone (from HTC or Xda) that will take this phone to another level. I've invested in the future of this phone for updates and ROM's, not the present.......

Hey this is actually not the first phone with Snapdragon.
The first phone is Toshiba TG01 : WinMo but with lesser RAM and 4.1" display.
And since camera phones are more or less priced by the no. of MPx, TG01 has 3.2MP making it cheaper.
Technically, this phone only gives us Touch Sense with WinMo 6.5 on a 4.3" display that is not already out there.

I think this phone has several inconsistencies. I would buy this phone but to think of it, the biggest selling point of it is the screen, which in turn make this phone less pocketable.
And it cannot be called an MID (ala N900). It can't replace a laptop/netbook.
WinMo 6.5, 5 MP cam are found in many phones now-a-days.
It actually finds a place somewhere between laptops and 3 to 3.2 inches mobile phones. Ofcourse laptops cannot make phone calls and it can, but I can't imagine a person holding one close to his ears.
Probably such a device can have best use as a MID but it needs a stronger OS. Maybe this phone is a bit to early into market and a little less equipped.

I almost asked every shop in Dubai and they said its not out yet. Omnia 2 was released 2 days ago with WM 6.1 which is really lame...it took them 4 months to bring it over and when they did, they weren't even bothered to upgrade it!
