Anonymous, 01 Jan 197016GB is fine for me (have 48GB total). How much do you have (32GB/cannot add more without buying new phone). Which is better buying new phone $1000.00 or $40.00 for microSD card, Hmmm???? Sounds like I'll save $960.00. Sounds GOOD to me.....

In multimedia & games, there's no other phones exist to beat iphone.
Multimedia = Iphone
Business = Blackberry
Rest is stupid phones ...neither they belong to multimedia nor business....like pendulum.

First you need to see what needs you have and what phone fits those needs. No phone will have all the features you want in a phone. Companies want you to keep upgrading to new phones. Why make a phone with everything? I have the two best phones on the market right now (HD2 and Omnia 2) each has it's pros and cons. Need to compare the different phones to see which fits most or all of your needs??

Lets talk about speed of your new hd2 in comparison to iphone 3gs. I dont own hd2 but looking at youtube, other reviews...its not impressive as iphone 3gs eventhough u got 1 ghz cpu. Its about OS. Apple overkills that. But i'm surprised how htc came up with lipstick in pig with hd2....its attractive and I liked it. And it looks better than iphone but 65k color puts everything down.
Besides all those hardware hypes, hd2 still not par to iphone. Lots of iphone wanna be phone came & go. Same thing with hd2. Hd2 beats iphone in only 1 thing: 1) 4.3" screen and flash in camera. Not to mention, iphone's 3mp camera & its video capability still beats hd2.
I dont wanna talk about app store......as noone ever come close to apple's apps store. But I still wanna have this hd2. The reason is simple....its as good as iphone but change & different!

Well that’s every good when it comes to gifts, you should appreciate every gift you get, no matter how small or lame you think it is.
But here is a lesson from me to you. "Never buy crap with your hard earned money." you worked hard for it don't waste it on something you think is crap, and that goes for everything not just phones.

I have converted tons of movies to the PPC form to put on my phone so I don't need to take a laptop or net book with me. I use my TV out on my Omnia 2 to watch movies and play music through the hotels TV (Great picture and sound). I have tons of music and photo's. Not to mention documents as well. I use the phone to it's full potential. You may not use that much space on your iphone (32GB). I do (48GB + if I want). As HTC says make the phone yours, the way you use it.....

Nick, when I change phones it’s to make and upgrade not just to say I have the newest phone on the market. I went from nokia symbian, to windows mobile 5, to windows mobile 6.1 and now I’m going to windows mobile 6.5 and when a better os comes out… maybe Android in a year or 2 I’ll switch to that. It’s all about improvement not going backward. That’s why I did not go from a HTC HD to an Iphone 3Gs.
But if you thing that the 3Gs is better than the HD2, why are you making that backward step? Do you have good cloths at home and still go out to buy rags??
And yes being able to swap 32GB memory card is better than a 32GB hard drive. Tell me what you can do with fixed internal Hard drive that I can’t do with a memory card? And don’t say speed because SD has no moving parts so it’s allot faster than you hard drive in the iphone.
B.t.w. if you need to f..uk so much go get a woman don’t do it here.

I would fill up the HD with my videos alone, not to mention music, and pictures. The phone is just a fade. The HD2 will take some of that share from the iphone.

This is the best phone ever made from Htc. Briliant and big screen,touch system so close with iphone,sound quality awesome and at and so fast mobile phone. I let my iphone 3gs on table and start love windows 6.5 again because got this phone......

It makes me laugh the way the ppl ask stupid questions here about stupid phone (esp win mobile). But I can not blame ppl for their ignorance. Its win mobile's fault. Here is a thing: htc hd2 is no doubt a very powerful phone but the fact is…it is still loaded with aging OS win mob 6.5. If you do not want to go through hassle, pls get iphone 3gs. It still surpass hd2 in speed, UI & ease of use. Its not f..kin about 1ghz processor or 448 mb Ram. Its about OS. Aging Win mob is simply power hungry & it needs twice the power of Iphone to perform the same task. So don’t be excited about 1gh processor & 448 Ram. I'd be surprised if HD2 can surpass present iphone 3gs' speed & smoothness even with this new hardware muscles. Stop whining about hd2 as you need to give some extra valuable time to get familiar. If u want sth perfect out of box….then get iphone 3gs. I am currently iphone3gs owner and looking to buy hd2….not becoz I don't like iphone. Its about change. Do you want to want to wear same pant & jacket for yrs?? I'm not fanboy. I always appreciate new innovations if it’s good…..not like Anthony. No doubt hd2 is remarkable phone but its not that as easy as iphone. And I used to be winmob user….so I know its strength & weaknesses.

But other than that I don’t hang around in either of them. They are just a means to get what I need done on my phone because I’m not a programmer so I’m happy that they are there to do it. I’m in here more because there are guys like Dexter, transformer and others that share info when they find new good programs. And that info maybe of use to me.

For you out there that don’t know what HSPL is …
HardSPL is a modified (hacked) boot loader which allows the flashing process to take place. It also removes the need to CID Unlock (vendor lock) is put on your device by the manufacturer to prevent installation of a ROM not released by them.
Think of the Boot loader as your Device's BIOS. The boot loader is the first thing to load once you turn on the device, this does the job of booting up the device hardware and loading various items into memory before the ROM starts in the device. The boot loader is also responsible for enabling the flashing of new ROMs and other components such as the Radio and the Ext_ROM.
