Hi All,
Of all the reviews I’ve seen not one mentions if this phone can connect and share file via Bluetooth or justconnect to headsets etc. For me it was definite downfall of iPhone.
Anyone know? Thanks.

Anthony, 07 Nov 2009follow up...
And other difference between a rom and a skin... moreThanks for the explanation Anthony...yet more questions though :)
1. How do I know what apps/programs are compatible with the HD2, because from what I've gathered from you and others is that it doesn't necesarily have to say "for the HD2" in order for it to be able to run on the HD2...so in other words, it doesn't have to be specifically made for the HD2, unless its a rom, then it has to specify the HD2. The question is, what do we look at, or what do we take into consideration when looking for apps/programs for the HD2 and go, "oh, yes, this will work just fine on the HD2" ???
2. I've checked out lots of sites with apps, games, programs...but how do you go about getting these things in the first place? Do you,
A. Download them on your computer, then load them to the HD2? If yes/possible, what are the steps?
B. Are you able to just visit the website with the HD2, find the app/game/program that you want, and then try to download it directly to the HD2? If yes/possible, what are the steps?
Basically, I've heard of people downloading things on their computers, and then not be able to put them on their phones, something to do with ZIP files, etc...
I trust you as an expert, and sorry for all the massive amounts of questions! :) Thanks in advance.

That is what I like about Windows Mobile it does not matter what phone you have. If you see software on a new phone you like you probably could find it for download to use on your phone as well. All you really need is a phone with good hardware and that what makes the HD2 great... its hardware.

Can't wait for this to be available in the KSA. Have been following this phone for what seems like an eternity. Finally everything I need and want on a device finally on the same device. Love HTC products and the original HD was the best phone I've owned. Any one have any experience using the device as a wifi router yet? I am most curious about this feature as 3G/ HSDPA is the only internet I have access to and having phone work as a router would be hugely beneficial for my circumstance.

And other difference between a rom and a skin is... a skin will work on your phone once is it compatible with your phone OS version.
But a rom must be made for your phone brand & model because roms have Drivers for the phone in it. And we all know what happens when you install wrong drivers on a windows PC, well this phone is also know as a windows Pocket Personal Computer a.k.a windows PPC or windows mobile.

ProjectCM3, 07 Nov 2009This is directed towards the people that have experience wi... moreOk what you went to in the link is a shell a.k.a. a skin not a rom.
If you where to think of the phone as a desktop PC...
A rom would be the manufacture Image Drive with the OS and other programs on it for when you need to do a factory reset.
And a skin would just be a program that runs on the os like WinCustomize.
A cooked rom would be like what the I.T. guy in the office would make with a program like Norton ghost after he has set up the PC just the way he wanted it and with the programs he wanted on it. So when he does a format and reinstall it does not come back to manufacturer setting it comes to the I.T. guy settings.
Because SPB Mobile Shell is just a program is can be turned on and off just like the since UI
I have tried the SPB Mobile Shell, it is nice but it got old really fast and I went back to using the Leo UI. So don’t buy it use the trial first and if you like it more then you can buy it. But I don’t think you will like it more. And this is the official site to get it is.

This is directed towards the people that have experience with "shells" or similar things...Anthony, I'm looking at you :)
I was searching online for potential Apps for the HD2, and ran into this:
http://www.handango.com/catalog/ProductDetails.jsp?storeId=2218&deviceId=2276&platformId=30&productId=203275&merch=major_marketing_message1&ad=mmm1_203275§ionId=0
Click on the video on the page, and tell me, can this replace the Sense UI from the HD2? I guess the question is, does this cover up the winmo UI the same way as the Sense UI? If so, is it better?
Like I said in the past, I'm pretty much new to this whole "cooked rom" "skins" "shells" etc...If you guys could be so kind as to give definitions and examples of what these things are, and perhaps websites of each one where I can find them, that would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance again!
