at first you should turn it off, then plug in for charging between 5 to 6 hours, then turn it on and use your phone about half hour, then charg it again until you observed it is charged.because in this way all of battery's cells are completly interfered,or i can say you can use all of your battery's cells appropriately....

I had a question that pertains to the battery/first time use/charging of the battery. Here goes,
1) I've heard stories that people have told that the best way to "prep" your phone battery for maximum charge life like so:
A) Right when you get your phone for the first time, turn the phone on, and use it until whatever electrical power is in the battery from the factory is drained.
B) After than, and ONLY after that, connect your phone to the charger and charge the phone to maximum capacity.
C) After that, DO NOT charge your phone until the battery drains out ENTIRELY, then charge it to maximum capacity once again.
D) Basically, after you've charged your phone to maximum capacity, you are supposed to repeat the whole "maximum charge, full battery depletion, maximum charge" steps for at least 3 cycles.
2) Or, should be just plug the phone in the power outlet and charge it as soon as we get it, and is the above procedure a bunch of garbage?
Your thoughts, opinions, or personal style of doing things with regards to how you handle your new phone and battery cycle...not just with the HD2, but with your new phones from the past. Thanks in advance!

G-dawg, 05 Nov 2009Thanks for your replies, you and High Tech.
As I said, I... moreWhen looking for software on Google, put “for windows mobile” or “for PPC” or “for WVGA windows mobile” in your search
Remember you are looking for programs that work on the OS and a WVGA screen. Only in small cases is the model of the phone important.

whats the point in getting so costly mobile wit... moreYou ask what is the point in getting this phone without video calls, and why not wait. Well here is my reason.
I owned an HTC TOUCH HD
Found it to be a great phone. liked that when the Topaz a.k.a. diamond 2 came out all I had to do was get the topaz rom for the HD and I had the new interface without having to buy the new phone.
then I got the Leo rom and it blew my mind but with all the new animation, it ran a bit slow on my HD. but I kept it anyway because it could do so much more than the original HD rom or the topaz a.k.a. diamond 2 rom. then at last I saw the phone the leo rom was made for, the HTC HD2. And you know what? Everything about the hardware was better to me, other than the battery and no front camera. But then I remembered, I never made a video call over the phone network. msn messenger, skype mobile, and ICQ mobile didn’t support video calls, so the only time that camera in front got any use was to take shots with me in it or for my 1 & half year old to see herself. To me that is no reason not to buy a phone. I was able to sell my HD with all the roms I downloaded for £300. If I waited for the HD2 to hit the shelf or an even better phone to hit the shelf I would have never gotten that price for selling it. When you sell a phone to get a next phone it should be a big upgrade and trust me this is a big upgrade from the HTC HD. and when I a next big jump come again I will sell again.
And by the way I like windows mobile. It has what I need in a PDA and I can make calls too lol..

It's a shame it hasn't got video call as this is a big problem to some people and it seems obvious most of those people are annoyed as they really want this awesome phone. Personally doesn't bother me and I have this phone on pre-order.
Also lots of people are moaning about WinMo, but don't realise that HTC have done such a great job with their skin that it's like no other WinMo OS phone.
The battery life on average use will get you through a day apparently, and thats several calls, plenty of data etc. I've ordered a second battery which cost £29 though as a spare for heavy use.
Here's a decent review here..
