Anonymous, 04 Nov 2009if you drop your phone that much, you shouldn't own one... ... moreYour problem has one tiny solution. Simply take care of the phone!!! or you can put it in a shockproof or bulletproof..etc casing in which I think your a one-handed person that always drop on something. Well anyway..I dont think you can buy this phone.

Devil666, 03 Nov 20091)NO video call 2)NO TV-out 3)NO digital compass 4)NO 16... moreThe only thing I would miss from my HTC HD (that you mention in your list) is the front camera.
And not for video calls because none of my friends/co-workers with Iphons or blackBerry phones where capable of video call so I could not us that feature any way.
It was very nice for take pictures where I wanted to be in the shot as well.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2009if you drop your phone that much, you shouldn't own one... ... moreYou telling me you don’t know of anyone that cracked an Iphone screen because it fell from them?
We “humans” don’t plan accidents that is why they are called accidents... you should always buy a case that does not have to come off in order for you to use the phone and seeing that the majority of the phone is the screen it makes sense to protect it.
and like everything electronic... something better will come out and when it does, if your phone is still looking like new, you could still get a good price to resell it to someone that cant afford the new best thing.

Devil666, 03 Nov 20091)NO video call 2)NO TV-out 3)NO digital compass 4)NO 16... morePeople are blowing this way out. No phone on the market is going to have every single item you want in a phone. If that's the case, companies will all make the same device (and only one with everything). They make different devices for different needs. One person might not need all the things you need. To each it's on. Some people like big screens some don't. A few things you left off (XM radio, 1080P video and recording, 64GB to 128GB HD, etc.) The phone you're looking for want be out until at least 2011 to 2012 after WM7 or WM8. Until then BUY the phone that fits your needs or wait til then to buy the phone you're looking for. Companies have to make money. Why make the ulimate phone. They add features to each version to keep you buying phones..... Why add all the features in the new capcitative line of phones. They will progress like all the other lines of phones......The next version will have added features down the line....As I said buy the phone that best fits your needs???????

                        9) What is the point of 5.1 channel surround sound for a screen this small? This is not a 42" or < TV

                        11) You don’t have the phone to know how long it will last. And as I can see from the spec. the times are about the same as that of every other phone in its class
                        12) NO mediascape... but can get coreplayer
                        13) It does have trackID it even has album art(what phone you watching?)

                        15) NO need to wait when you can just upgrade it when wm7 comes out
                        16) Not everyone lives in the US so not everyone will give a sh-it if it has North American 3G bands or not.
                        17) Your hand to small
                        18) To ugly is just your point of view not facts

11)TOO small of a battery for such large screen (device=battery drainer)
                              12)NO mediascape
                              13)NO trackID
14)NO Android (but that is people's preference)
15)NO REAL multitouch as it still runs on WM 6.5 (HTC shoulda waited till WM 7.0)

Here are some things that I've been thinking/wondering about:

                                    1. Does anyone know of any company that exists, who modify cell phone bodies? Example would be, say...I wanted my HD2 to have an all steel or aluminum body. I would select the material on the website, send in my phone, and voila...it comes back in a new metal/leather/carbon...etc. case.

                                    2. Do 4.3 inch screen protectors even exist?

                                    3. Are there any companies that design and create higher, more powerful batteris for the HD2, or any other cell phone for that matter? If yes, which ones?

                                    4. Why are all these fanboy wars still going on? I mean, I remember when the PlayStation and Nintendo 64 came out, people were totally either in the PS camp or the N64 camp...but seriously, grown men and women should have outgrown these childish games. If one is better than the other, that's fine, save your money and get the best. Period. These word wars don't help or support anyone, so why bother? It'e better to educate yourself, and know the facts, than be ignorant, holding tight with both hands to whatever device your prefer, and screaming out loud that "mine is better!!!"

                                    5. Lastly, I can't wait to purchase an HD2 of my own!
