Still will not buy a new WP phone as yet (giving them 2 years to have a mature OS and better app market) but I don’t see nothing wrong in trying it for free. The HD2 RAM is a lot smaller than that of a WP phone so don’t expect miracles

I already have the ROM downloaded onto my pc... moreBecause that ROM is 3.14 you will also want to remove HSPL as well.
These are the steps.
1. use a program like 7zip (or a next decompression program) to extract all the files out of the ROM .exe file.
2. find the file RUU_signed.nbh and rename it leoimg.nbh (the file should be about 278mb is size)
3. copy that one renamed file to the root of your SD card.
4. power off the phone.
5. hold the “volume down” key and power on the phone. Keep holding the volume down key.
6. Release the volume key when you see the boot loader screen.
7. Follow the blue instructions that are displayed on the gray background.
Notes: the phone dose not need to be connected to the PC when you are doing this. You should have more than 50% battery power.
And don’t forget to remove the leoimg.nbh from your SD after you have restored your phone.
Let me know how it goes.

Anthony, 21 Jul 2011I only have android on my SD just encase I need to do somet... moreI'm back... Been gone awhile.... I only use Android on my HD2 now full time... I'm using an Android build with the new Sense 3.0 on it... It's still some whay buggie (Android new market), but I like Sense 3.0... I'm going to stick with this Android 3.0 Ginger for now (Hope they get it smooth soon)... I'm waiting to see if Android Icecream Sandwhich will be able to run on the HD2???? That version seems to need more horse power to run???? By then I will be ready to get my Android phone and Tablet... I hear the new slate of Android Tabs will have Quad Core???? Cannot wait....

Download the ROM using your S/N and you have it let me know.

2. after you installed MGLDR did you power off you phone, then power it back on and keep holding the power button till the phone enter MGLDR booth menu screen?
When you are in the MGLDR menu screen use the volume keys to navigate and the answer key as enter. You have to use the USB Flasher option to install the NAND android ROM from your PC with the phone connected to it.
If you have done all of the above tell me in detail of everything you did from the beginning. Don’t miss anything out, so I can see where you went wrong.

Arnomerc, 26 Jul 2011my serial number for the HD2 is HT9axnw00622. kindly assist... morei didn't want to know your S/N. i wanted to know if you knew what htc ROM was made for your S/N. all HD2 don't carry the same ROM and to undo what you did, first you must know that is the correct ROM to put back. i don't want to check your S/N on ever htc HD2 ROM. so it would be a big help if you could tell me what was on it/made for it.
