Im also from India, chennai. I've bought my HD7 last week and using the phone in its full glory. All you need to do is first change your phone region/location to UK manually and create a hotmail id with UK as your location and set that as the primary live id and login using that. Now everything including Xbox Live will work. Have a good WP7 experience. Atleast you can use this till MS launches WP7 officially in India by Jan 2011

HD7 fast and easy to use. But don't have wi-fi router like HD2, can not share video. Can't manage file like old window. I hope window phone7 should be better than now!

Godwin, 23 Dec 2010Previosly had htc hd2 supposedly the predecessor but more s... moreWell they dont its funy too because the things that make windows phones standout over iphone by bean able to sync to any thing and the use of SD card they took it awey, now its just like the iphone, only thing it use Zune instead of itune, with out it you cant Sync to your PC, no direct access to the phone memory to vew and edit files ;-(

Previosly had htc hd2 supposedly the predecessor but more superior than this phone hd7 that i just acquired one wk ago. how the hell do you get this phone pairing with other phones or laptop thro bluetooth. the net isnt helping and i keep getting the message " service not found" whenever i try to pair with my laptop or not supported if connecting with other phones. Jst how does MS excpect us to communicate with other devices?

I moved from G1 to TMobile HD7. Thursday Dec 16th I recieved the phone and it looks awesome. After charging the battery I started exploring the options and after 2 days I decided to return it and get G2 from T-Mobile.
No matter how fast the processor is, Microsoft will never learn. Andriod market Apps are awesome and cheap Microsoft's App are damn expensive. e.g. Remote desktop is $14.99 from MS, where as VNC is free for Andriod.
HTC doesn't allow tethering thats a shame for a phone launched for 2011. No support for Flash. G2 has both features with price difference of $49.99.

Don't know what the revie... moreI have used all the OS on windows phone, (WM5, WM6,WM6.1, WM6.5 and now WP7) and it’s the best WM OS ever, its super-fast, the touch function is perfect; Only thing is that the cut and pace feature and removable SD card , direct access to your phone data with just a Win PC got taken away and Still no flash support. What really make me MAD now is why T-MOBILE push so hard to get the phone out on the market with that dome BS 3G radio and a month after offering 4G Android phone and Network coverage? For the best Win OS phone it should have had all that including an 8meg and front facing Camera. I really love windows stuff but this just totally BS after spending all that money a year ago for that HTC HD2 that they completely F-UP on because the OS was so sticky.
