Rpk, 20 Apr 2014Guys,i am new to htc.i never used a htc before.i am using i... morehtc has the best UI in android, fastest and very very less lag and delay in UI.most secure UI and smoothness UI is for htc.for sure htc is best choice for you.M8 also has fastest touch(2.5 times more than not3),fastest phone ever made(very fast in compare to iphone 5s),2nd battery(in call and web s5 is better but in video and music M8 is better/1st GS5 2-M8) very excellent camera(almost equal to GS5 16mp/but sony camera has some issue and are so dark and dusty).M8 has best design and strongest body in drop test and scratch.M8 uses super lcd but z2 has IPS(for sure M8 display is sharper and more clarity) and ....
you can see all items hold you to M8.buy it with no doubt.wait wait,M8 has double tap to wake and you will not use power button in most times. M8 is better

This model has a barometer. :)

Which makes it almost perfect. All its missing is FM Transmitter (not to be confused with FM Radio) (receive)

Anonymous, 19 Apr 2014go to m8The build quality of M8 is alone a winner, don't know there are some good features in Z2 too.

Only time will tell...Thanks for your recommendation anyway :)

HTC have to listen to their customers and make a change, they are not the one buying their products,a lot of people has complained about ultrapixel with low resolution.to Me it doesn't matter, unless you're viewing your pictures on large display.that's where megapixel has upper hand. apart from that M8 is a great phone no doubt about it.

The picture quality has way more to do with the sensor size then the number of megapixels.

That is why people would pay 2000 $ more buying a 18MP DSLR rather then buying a 18MP point and shoot.

[deleted post]By now everyone knows that higher megapixel doesn't mean better picture quality, but what about details? A photo shot at 12 mp will naturally have more details than a photo shot at 4 mp! There's nothing to argue there.

All the mobile cameras have tiny sensors regardless of whatever the claim, so the only way the can make up are by putting a high resolution sensor, something like 8 mp, that's what hTC should've done. I never understood what's the point of sticking with nonsense Ultra Pixels, they didn't learn their lesson from last year, or this is just how the corporate world goes, you do that, we will do another thing, like S5 will take much better photos, while M8 will have the superior build quality and premium feel.

At the end of the day you need to sort out your priority, by paying $$$. Hmm!

Wh... moreIt does take good shots as such its when I crop or blow them up for folk quality degrades..I do use cam for large prints ,,if HTC had just given us that more resolution I would not have a complaint (say even 6.4 megapixels)..At a 6x4 inch print most folk may print at it does ok and most just post to social networks so no problem there..I have a Cannon point and shoot but don't have it with me all the time like phone..

HTC ONE (M8) photo quality is good just I need that bump in resolution. My Nokia N95 photos suffer at what I want to print them at or crop them..I am not into colour accuracy just like a nice clear shot with good contrast..

It is actually amount of colour levels that each pixel than can differentiate and senses.
