Anyone else having troubles with the Ir blaster? Mine is not working....actually the Ir works but the cap on the top is so thick that it doesn't allow the IR light to come through...I have to remove it to see that it works...anyone else suffer the same? How did you solve it?

I'm using this phone for 10 days now, bought it brand new. Well, this phone is exellent exept battery life wich is averege. No overheat, zero lag, very fast, the display is brillant. "Warning" dont buy refubished phones, they all have broblems, thats why they refubished.

Currently using this m9 I love the phone actually. If I have wish I wish that HTC build a new m9 like m9s and just upgrade its specs. For me this phone has some lacking but in terms if freeze and lagging I don't experience it here so good phone. Most complains about heat about battery but I already manage myself to accept the fact that come to android phone there is no perfect phone that not heated up. I used to have Samsung I used to have lenovo huawei p9 the recent but all those I change and not so satisfied then I change to HTC m9 and for godsake It never cross to my mind to change but to keep this m9 because I already feel secured and contented. Thank you HTC m9.

I av htc m9+, my touch pad got spoil, I can't get d spare part in market, av bin 2 lagos computer village thrice dis year to fix it but, it was nt available,pls help me out if u av any info on where I can get my phone fixed,or get d spare part.

After 1.5years of use, I have a mixed opinion about the M9. At times it felt like the best phone I ever had and at other times it was the most frustrating phone. Let's start with the positives:
-Great build quality; feels great and fell down a lot and nothing happened
-Looks awesome
-Still very fast
-Decent camera (There are better ones)
-The screen is good
-Sense 7 is okay,but I don't like the Brightnessbutton in the quick-settings
-Lately I used it with Nova and it didn't affect the battery life and performance
Negatives:
-Can heat up for no reason (battery drain), even during standby
-Rather poor battery life (When new 13-14hours and now 8-11hours- with almost no gaming)
-A lot of system crashes causing some settings to reset--> really enoying
-Some times shuts down imediately when battery under 15%
-HTC's updates where poor; there were more bugs than before
-Example: My Wifi keeps on disconnecting every 2 minutes for a couple of seconds after I updated it to 6.0. Half a year later still no update to fix it
-Between 5.1 and 6.0 HTC disabled the vibration when in power-saving mode
-The power-saving mode reduces the brightness a lot
-The speakers aren't very loud and seem to get worse after some time
-There are apps like YouTube with extreme power consumption (My previous phones didn't have that)
All in all the M9 ages pretty poorly in my opinion and I'm looking forward to replace it soon.

One of the worst phones of 2015. First of all this phones heats up a lot. The performance is not on par with the specifications. Camera is shaky.
The only good thing about this phone was the speakers

I am using this phone for 4 months now , first its camera does not adjust itself to the light and it captures shaky photos.
Second its battery dry up so fast
3rd it has a poor protection system for the viruses.
4th applications do hang most of time which is so boooring
Last and most important, the overheat, simple applications like reminding ones can make the phone so hot that is a Scary thing ..

I have loaded this phone with more than 60apps, games, movies, songs, photos and much more. To my wonder this phone works like a charm no slowing down. It does heat up rarely but its nothing serious as it cools down shortly and i keep on using it without any glitch. This is my first favourite android phone. Its body feels premium touch i like the feel its bit slippery and often falls from my hands but their is no defect yet.I have ordered Htc dot view cove to keep it safe. Excited for it, waiting its delivery. I will keep using this phone and even it breaks down the next phone could be htc 10.

Bought this phone 4 month ago, now it wont charge for the last two days yet I'm using the original charger. Tried different USB cables but it won't charge

One thing i love about my M9, during winter it wont overheat during winter and run a few heavy apps u got urself a hand warmer, and during the summer, i just take it out of its case and the aluminium back does its thing. Or i sometimes chuck it in the fridge.

The good thing with metal devices is that they don't overheat during winter.
