      wifi direct.
      yes. HTC total screwed it up. it will pear but will always fail to send or receive.
      i notice this some time back and the HTC online tec help was no help at all. feeding me some crap abut wifi direct is not for sending files. it your using a special type of internet. LOL
      what he was smoking i would like to know.

        You can use a third party application to use this feature on one max. The name of the app is "XENDER", however, you will not find it on Playstore. You must google the apk file and install it on your phone. Though to be able to use this, the app needs to be installed on the other device as well.

        Once you're done, you can transfer an mp3 file for like one (1) second only! You can transfer any file on your storage with this app.

            Do you want to send files using Bluetooth but having problems or are you asking if there is a next option besides Bluetooth?

                  To transfer files from your Note 2
                  You need to install the HTC transfer tool on your Note 2.
                  It can be found in the play store.

                    Yes i am talking about file transfers from note 2 to the one max only bluetooth

                    And for led light notification as i told you only while charging red and green no light for others like missed calls emails

                      It not multi color, only orange and (green on a full charge.)
                      to see what you can turn on or off the LED for, go to settings>
                      Display>notification light.
                      as for file transfer, are you talking about a file manager?

                            sapphire is not a display technology, so you can ask or say it is better than LCD or AMOLED.

                            It's a display "cover material", a.k.a the (screen)

                            It's an alternative to gorilla glass and has nothing to do with the IPS LCD (that Apple use), LCD, LCD3 or AMOLED display.
                            So your question should be, is a sapphire screen stronger than a gorilla glass screen?
                            Because gorilla glass is what Apple use to cover there retina display now and plan to switch to sapphire. But it's still going to be using a IPS LCD display under the sapphire screen.

                                Take your finger and hold it on your subject till the AF an AE lock comes on then take the picture by taping the shutter.
                                A next trick is to use a next object of similar distance and better contrast to set you AF and AE lock. Then reposition the camera to the subject you want to take . And take out the picture.
                                Download the PDF user manual for your phone and learn how to use the features properly.

                                      the Android 4.4.2 upgrade was just an upgrade to Android it self. and has nothing to do with HTC added software.
                                      the ONE MAX is not using a pure Android camera so nothing changed on it. the big changers that people want is in the sense 6 update (that is not out just yet). not the android only update that was realest.

                                        No downloaded app is allowed to edit data on an EXT SD CARD, unless the data being edited is in the default folder of the installed downloaded app.
                                        The rule only applies to the EXT SD. Internal SD and USB OTG do not have the restriction.
                                        This is how the restriction will affect you.
                                        The ONE line of phones do not come with a file manager app.
                                        You manage pictures and video from the gallery, and you manage downloads from the download interface. You manage documents from within polaris office 5
                                        If you need a file manager for any reason. You have to download one. And it will fall under the rule.
                                        As a file manager has no default folder on the EXT SD it can’t edit anything on the EXT SD.
                                        That means no past/mover/delete/ create new
                                        . it you have a app you download to password protect files. Its not going to work on files on the EXT SD
                                        In short any think that did not come with the phone can’t do any edit function to the EXT SD CARD.
                                        It has nothing to do with HTC, it is that way for all Android 4.4.2 phones. Only apps that comes with the phone has full access. Downloaded apps only have full read access and limited write access to SD.
                                        So I have to manage files with what came with the phone. Or connect to a PC and use the My computer on the PC to make the changes on the EXT SD.
                                        And all was add that what good in the update was. Cloud printing and additional Bluetooth support.
                                        No need to rush for that. Lol
                                        The sense 6 update is what I think everyone will want and will have to live with the restriction then. No need to deal with that right away.
