Actually the camera is amazing, believe it or not, it's like the iPhone camera, maybe even better, it has ultrapixel technology, which means multiply the 4 megapixel times 4, which is 16, so technically it's 16 megapixel
I have the htc one and this one is almost the same as mine (amazing phone!)

Do some research on the new Android 4.4.2 EXT SD security write restriction and see if it is something you can live with first. Updating is not going to give your sense 6 because the update is not available yet. It is reported to be coming in June.

1. how good it could take a pic of a person that was not standing still, when I’m not standing still.(need to know if I could use it as a backup camera at my child’s events)
2. How much detail it could see (it’s a picture of my jeans pants leg.
3.How much detail it could see on a small object. Used my finger tip to test that.

It's aluminum so it disperses heat from the different chips faster than plastic can.
It's also thicker in the center where the chips are.
In addition no matter which one you pick you should put it in A TPU case with the edge lip.
Because gorilla glass is still glass. It's not crack proof. Don't be fooled by the hype.

htc ... moreIf you like premuin feel go for the htc one gold 32gb i used this phone about 4 month is extreamly fast and you would like it.
If you like large phone that every single person asked you about your device than go for one max that i used nowadays and i will never sold it any more battery life last easy for 2 days speaker sound are amazing better than the normal one .
And if you like taking great photo go for desire 816 that have best camera of these two other phone with midle size of the three
